I guess I comitted to the AU from this piece XD
In this AU, Fu lost all of the Miraculous, except for the Black Cat, Turtle, and Butterfly. When Hawkmoth rears his head in an attempt to drive out the Black Cat, Fu chooses his holders.
The Painted Lady chooses 'champions' using her 'spirits'. Like with Hawkmoth, they won't remember what they did afterwards, only that they accepted the power. She can still misuse her power like Hawkmoth, and mind control them, but that isn't something that naturally occurs to her.
I imagine this AU's Antibug would come about when one of Hawkmoth's sentimonsters are sent out with the Ladybug Miraculous, and gains the ire of Chloe Bourgeois in the proces. The Painted Lady is never short of potential heroes, considering how much damage Hawkmoth causes! I kind of like this AU, because it pulls out the heroism in the populace of Paris, and makes them fight along with their heroes - to a degree
