The Making of Lilidae
Just wanted to share a simple story of how I thought of this CS.
During the early weeks of 2016 when I was horribly bored in the city with little to no art inspiration, I thought to myself I should try my hand in designing anthros. It felt like some sort of coming of age or challenge to myself because I had little to no experience with such characters, so I made it part of my 2016 resolution to teach myself how to draw human-faced anthros. But of course before I do some practice and researching, I had to first choose what kind of species I want to dedicate myself to.
That was when I revisited Rise of the Guardians, one of my favorite DreamWorks animation of all time since its release in 2012. I think every girl who set their eyes on the lovely Tooth Fairy was reminded of their childhood love for fairies and birds as she perfectly embodied both. Looking her up, I dug up these lovely GIFs and concept art/fanart that became the main staple for the future of Lilidae.
This then

Basic CSS Style Guide
CSS is a style language used to define the style and formatting of web pages. It is used in conjunction with HTML.
If we think of HTML as the building blocks of the web then, essentially, CSS is the painter and decorator. Very simply, HTML defines the structure of the page and CSS defines the style.
What I'll be helping you with here is getting to grips with the basics of CSS. I'll be explaining how use CSS as well as providing a number of examples that you can use to style your own web pages and journals. All you need to do is copy/paste the code and replace the sample text with your own content. Along with the quick reference I've also written a brief glossary of terms and provided a list of useful links in case you wish to do some further reading.
A point of note is that while the information and examples I've given here apply to CSS use anywhere on the web, this guide itself is geared towards the use of CSS on deviantART. As such, and given that this h

Hi everyone! There's a week left until Inktober and I'm gonna do it again this year ~

I've started drawing inktober in 2016, the first year with official topics from creator. I didn't know if I would want to do it again next year, I was just trying something new and wanted to practice traditional graphic a little bit. In the end, I have not only finished it (i hate giving up on challenges! have I ever ditched any I started? no!), but also loved it so much that I decided to repeat it in 2017.

In 2016, I did the whole work with classic liners. And it was fun, though my back sometimes hurt so much that i wasn't noticing when my sister spiked my skin with nails trying to soften the muscles along the spine during massage :3

In 2017, I decided to change the rules and try all the traditional materials i ever wanted to try (excluding those only fitting for big formats - oil and acrylic painting are not the best choice for everyday challenge =3). With the greatest respect to the creator of original inktober, I called that frankenstein made of
graphic techniques 'sketchtober', because it couldn't be called inktober anymore, though half or even more works could still be tagged as inktober (which i did, for sure).
I tried markers, ball-point pens, watercolor, graphite&colored pencils, even gouache and pastels - and sometimes i sucked, but it still was very fun! Except for gouache, for sure. I was defeated by gouache and had to save that piece with colored pens :D
And even there where i sucked, I was able to see my weak points, so I cannot underestimate the overall profit ~

So it's 2018 now, and I'm gonna try something like F2 hybrid of my last year and classic inktober with some experiments, too :3 Let us see what comes out of this all, I'm already preparing my supplies with a lot of inspiration and a little bit of fear. Hello, Inktober, goodbye, my neck ~

P.S. I'm giving my deepest thanks to Mr. Jake Parker for this wonderful challenge and official prompts list.
P.P.S. And also thanks from my whole heart to all of you for watching, faving and commenting my inktober arts and all the rest stuff. This means really much for me!
