I had a dream where I was a lizard-human hybrid. It was really cool, and then I thought this idea of a semi-corrupted gem character... and then Lizard Stone was born. She has vampire-like teeth and snake-like tongue because I had those in my dream. Also, her weapon isn't really that big XDD It's the same size as normal throwing stars.

LIZARD STONE, WHITE DIAMOND'S COURT
NICKNAME/TITLE(S): Lizard, Lizzy, Liz

PERSONALITY:
If you had to describe Lizard with just one adjective, it would be moody. She is very temperamental, and may suddenly get angry, sad or even euphoric over small things. Lizard is also known for being affectionate, she loves hugs and kisses - even the smallest ones. She can also be really stubborn and childish due to her young age (or young for a gem, since most gems are thousands of years old). Lizard often makes stupid decisions, but tries to get out of trouble every time.

Before Lizard got corrupted, she was also very cheeky and impish, and always testing the limits. She never showed any respect towards anyone unless she had to. Lizard hurt others' feelings easily, often hitting a sore spot with her words. She was adventurous and reckless, and these traits were the reason she got corrupted.

During her corruption Lizard was anxious and scared most of the times due to having very little energy. She had to use her healing powers all the time to prevent the corruption from spreading which made her exhausted both physically and emotionally. She was very submissive and obedient, since she knew she couldn't fight anyone in that state of health - and she felt useless. That's why manipulating her was easy. She was affectionate before her corruption, but she craved physical affection even more when corrupted, since no one really wanted to touch her or come closer. And she couldn't fuse with anyone either. Her self-esteem was the lowest during this period of her life - she kept insulting herself and blaming herself for lots of stuff. Even after her corruption she might behave in an animalistic manner - hissing, growling, running on all fours...

After her corruption Lizard has turned a lot more compassionate and humble and less rebellious and reckless. She tries her best not to be mean towards anyone, unless others are being mean towards her or others. Since she can understand and relate to corrupted gem monsters now, she tries her best to protect those from gems who abuse and bully them for no reason. Sometimes it causes problems, since Lizard may turn temporarily corrupted when she's really angry.

HISTORY:
Lizard was made for White Diamond. She usually went on small missions to help with simple tasks, such as healing and getting into small spaces. 

One day she found a restricted area, with all kinds of signs telling entering is forbidden. Lizard, being an impish, young gem, decided to check the place out just for fun. It turned out to be a testing area, where the diamonds wanted to test the same explosion they did to Earth when all the Homeworld gems escaped. Lizard was confused when all the gems in that area started becoming monsters - and soon she noticed her own skin turning scaly as well. She panicked as she tried to escape and prevent her own corruption from spreading at the same time. The whole test was a disaster, and the diamonds weren't happy when they found out an outsider interrupted it. After the awful experience Lizard spent most of the time hiding from other gems, hating her new form. She only went to see other gems when she needed something. She spent decades hiding under piles of trash, until one day a psychic gem found her.

The psychic gem was Annabergite, who promised Lizard she'll help her. During the journey of healing Lizard discovered new abilities she had gained after corruption - she was able to talk to corrupted gems. Her healing abilities had also gotten stronger. She also made a lot of new friends. After Anna managed to heal her completely, Lizard thought everything would be alright. But no, Anna wanted to use the young gem for her own personal goals. She tried to stop Lizard from leaving her base or developing feelings for one of the gems Lizard had met while being in Anna's base - Clinoclase. Lizard soon lost her trust towards the psychic, and after a rollercoaster of feelings she decided to go to the diamonds. After all, she was considered a criminal for entering the testing area.

The diamonds were this close to shattering Lizard, but White Diamond decided to spare the small gems life. She found it fascinating how she was able to heal her own corruption. Lizard was happy, but not for long. Anna still didn't let her go outside, even though Lizard was healed and redeemed. Lizard and the other gems decided that it was time to get rid of the psychic, since she had never done anything positive towards the others, Anna was a pretty shitty person after all. Anna found out about their plans, and soon kidnapped one of Lizard's friends, Azurite. The gems felt hopeless, so hopeless that Lizard decided to tell Annabergite she'll help her - she actually just wanted to know the location of Azurite, but Anna managed to take away Lizard's phone and keep her trapped in a cell next to Azurite's. The reptile gem had to wear a collar which prevented her from using her powers, but it also made her stronger and stronger. 

Lizard was isolated from everything for weeks, until Anna let her out to heal Anna's shattered and corrupted wife, Jade. Lizard succeeded, but it took a lot of energy from her. Jade wasn't happy when she met Anna again. Lizard's friends had actually found Anna's location and were ready to fight her, but Lizard was too weak to take part in the fighting. Anna was almost winning since she had Azurite under her control. She was about to kill Lizard as well, when Azurite actually attacked Anna, rescuing Lizard. Lizard told Jade to kill Anna, and the gem monster did it without hesitation.

Nothing was easy after that, Lizard and all her friends were pretty shocked. Azurite was pretty badly traumatized, and Lizard also has nightmares about Anna. Clino was upset because she had developed feelings for Lizard, but the green gem had just disappeared without saying anything. After some time most of them got better, and Lizard and Clino started officially dating. White Diamond gave Lizard a job at a medical ward, though Lizard's superior Kunzite is awful. 

She's trying her best to make her future a good one. She's currently raising four gemlings with her girlfriend Clinoclase.

STRENGTHS:
Lizard is a healer. She's best at healing herself, but she can heal other gems too. She can send healing waves from her hands. Lizard stones aren't usually very strong, but a psychic gem named Annabergite made Lizard stronger - though it was a painful journey. Lizard stones become stronger when they are tortured, since they have to focus on healing themselves and surviving. And since Lizard has been corrupted and she has had to use her powers a lot to prevent the illness from spreading, it has also made her stronger. Lizard has managed to bring shattered gems back to life with her healing powers - it takes a lot of energy, though, and it's not that easy.

Because Lizard has been corrupted, she's also able to talk with corrupted gems. She can also talk with poofed gems or gem shards with her healing waves - but only if those gems have enough energy to talk back to Lizard.

WEAKNESSES:
Lizard isn't physically strong. 

Her self-esteem isn't the best either. She might not always believe in herself, and she often feels guilty about things that aren't her fault. She also may think she doesn't deserve good things.

She's very moody which causes problems. When corruption survivors are really angry, they might turn back to their monster forms - but only temporarily. However, sometimes when Lizard accidentally turns into a monster, it may take from minutes to hours to turn back.

Lizard can't write very well. She makes lots of mistakes, and she's a slow reader.

WEAPONS:
A throwing star. She only uses it if she feels extremely threatened or angry. She can also use her tail to hit others, and her teeth and claws when she's corrupted.

HABITS:
Even though gems don't need to eat, Lizard enjoys it. She mostly eats pizza and sandwiches. She also likes drinking, and has a bad habit: smoking. She started it after she got corrupted, because it lessened her physical pain. She's healthy now, but still smokes every now and then.

FIGHTING STYLE:
She isn't really made for fighting. Lizard stones are an extra help during missions, healing all the injured and completing tasks where smaller gems are needed. She fights if she has to, and mostly focuses on being agile and dodging the attacks. Her own weapons are throwing stars. She also smacks her enemies with her tail sometimes.

LOVE INTEREST(ѕ):
She's dating Clinoclase. The two fell in love sort of accidentally. At first Clinoclase mostly teased Lizard and Lizard got annoyed, but later on they bonded because of their similar experiences and problems. Clinoclase tried to hide her feelings for a long time, because she was afraid of being hurt again. Luckily she was brave enough to let the two become closer, and now the two are a happy and a healthy couple.

LIKES & DISLIKES
✓ Her pet cat named Hot Wings. She got it from her friend Azurite as an apology.
✓ Her girlfriend Clinoclase and her other friends.
✓ Her gemlings Gila, Tegu, Mako and Serpentine.
✓ Plushies, her favourite plushie is a pink giraffe which squeaks.
✓ Food, especially sandwiches.

HOBBIES: Cooking, she likes food so she wants to know how to make it herself. She also likes watching TV.
CONFIDENCE: Depends on her mood. Usually she's not that confident. Sometimes she might believe in herself, and sometimes she has a really low self-esteem. It has been improving, though.
FLAWS: Childishness, stubbornness, moodiness.
