i love your work- i'd make almost every piece a fav (esp. the butterfly stuff). You definately seem to have refined your own approach, style, & technique. Developing your own artistic mark or stamp that is both unique, & easily recognizable can be one of the most frustrating processes for an artist.
A lot of your best pieces (including this charming one) have a soft glow thinly glazed over it. It literally emanates an inner light that, when combined with the subject matter (i.e butterflys), produces a warm, airy tone. The objects are not outlined- there are just soft, blushed color transitions between them. I love that. In a way, i see a lot of similaritys to Impressionism, but again, still distinctively your own. In particular, the blossoms in this piece demonstrate these effects exceptionally. They're my favorite part. Lovely work
