Humans in general. Their anatomy, faces, hands and feet in particular.

Interesting and dynamic poses for characters.
General composition for covers, posters, etc.
Digital painting. (I feel I'm getting a hand on this)
I want to add writing. I'm working on a webcomic and that shit is hard.

Recently I've been struggling with environments, specifically city-scrapes and rocks. Other than that I've also been trying to improve my paneling by making little one shot comics

any big picture ideas. I can draw the details and I can draw from reference, but I cannot blindly draw proportions of anything well. e.g.: i want to draw a tree. draw it without reference and it looks like a marshmallow on stilts, drawn with a reference it looks, well, like a tree.

Many professionals use reference and it is actuslly considered unprofessional to NOT use it. Even in my classes, gathering and using refs is a required part of the process that will cost us points if we do not do it. It also WILL affect the quality of the finished product. The only real thing you gain from not using refs is bragging rights and those are really utterly worthless.

Lol, yeah, I actually find it really difficult to work in a classroom. I need to be in a lab or studio where i can have quiet or my headphones on.

Best place though is in a coffee shop.

oooo yeah. white noise is super helpful. I can't listen to music (at least music in english) while I'm on a deadline because I get distracted too easily ahaha.

lol For me it's music that fits the mood of the piece, as long as it's noise, I'm ok.

Cats. Every time I try to draw them it seems dog-ish. My hand won't comprehend that dogs are lean and cats are fluffy balls of heaven. *face palms*

Human anatomy and poses. Every time I try to draw someone in a position other than standing with their hands at their side it looks really structured and blocky, not realistic. Almost as if I'm just pulling at their legs and they're not really in controll of themselves.

Also the whole hoof/fetlock thing. That really gets me sometimes.

humaaaaans. like most other people, but I'll acknowledge that while I would like to draw them, I really don't practice them at all, so it's my fault.

Wolves.....I want to draw something for a friend and I cannot draw canine anatomy decently to save my life.  I try to draw them in a style between anime and realism....makes it maybe a little harder lol

Better realism specifically faces and hands, skin. It's my favorite style once I got past my anime/manga phase ages ago.. but Im stuck at semi-realism.
