WIP - Aros Tou Walk cycle by Ahkward WIP - Aros Tou Walk cycle by Ahkward
** Will scrap later -

So this is what I managed to get done in about 4-5 hours. I got pretty chatty though explaining the basic basic basic animation process. This is nothing fancy, I'm only making a colored rough so I'm not cleaning it up too much. I hope to work on it tomorrow morning too. u_u It's fun to do this again. A bit repetitive, but it's simple and easy for me to do since it is that way.

I got all the "skeletons" done and now I am working on making them actually look like Aros. I did a rough sketch first to get his proportions (on the right) and then guides to help with the "squash and stretch" motions as well as the natural up and down we all have in our walks. Not perfect, but I'll be working on smoothing it out over the next few days! :'D

It sure is repetitive, but who cares when it's fun? I did had some basic animation class when I studying in a multimedia course, and it was rather fun.

It is a bit repetitive, but it's not that hard to do. It can be fun, and since it is Aros, someone I have wanted to animate for a while, it's even more fun. XD

IKR? I was so mad when Campbell wouldn't even LOOK at my demo reel. OnO I would have loved to take even the animatic elective class. u_u But it's fine. I don't think it's fair how they are like, CA can take Illustration classes but not the other way around. I know that they have limited seats, so I think they should have illustration students make a demo reel to try out for the right to take those empty seats in the CA classes if they want to. I mean, that way only those who care enough will make teh demo reel, even if it's just one animation. It shows initiative.

Yeah, apparently students from other majors could also participate in our award shows like illest but we couldn't in theirs? Although I haven't even heard of what competitions they had, I just heard others talk about how it's not fair that other majors are getting into our shows so that our own students have a smaller chance of winning/getting accepted ._. But like...a lot of times you have to take a course of something to even realize you are interested in it and have a talent for it. Like sculpting with sculpy was kinda like that for me, I had no idea I'd love it so much or would be good at it. I would've loved to take the very basic 2D animation thing they had (forget what they called it) which basically every school has, and is usually open to every major, partially to see if I should even look into any animation related careers.

Yeah, it was a lot of work, but was the main / hardest part. The rest is easy, just time consuming. xux
