Stinger found himself in another secluded area, marked by Cadnium and Metronite with it's gem-forming operations. It's natural gem life was now heavily mixed with gem with crystallization forming around this place. What was once green was now becoming a mixture of colors and the place glowed and shined like the night sky. Stinger had finally managed to out run the soldiers chasing him, losing them when he had entered the woods. His mission still stood out, to return to his companions and find a way to stop Cadnium's plans. But as that remained a top priority, so did the transformed wilderness around him...
Stinger:"This does not seem good. I can sense that darkness within all this beauty... Cadnium, the instability of his own plans is shown through his work. Whatever darkness overtook him, it will only lead to destruction. The colonization of the other planets had shown that already. This....as noble as it is to gem kind, it is nothing good and must come to an end."
As he wondered through the turned woods, Stinger found himself at another cliff, where he saw just how vast this operation was going. From where he stood, millions of acres of forest had been turned into a crystallized compound and was filled with wildlife, just not the normal life. Stinger knew that in the woods were the pets of the Elita soldiers, crystal infused creatures, such as wolves, birds, even elks, bats and cats. And some creatures seemed a bit more...mutated than others. Some were bigger than how they should be, others had three heads and could spew fire. They were all an obstacle in Stinger's path, but were not much of a challenge. Just as he was about to make his way down, he saw flashes from within the woods, the sparks seen when blades clash. A battle was taking place, but would soon be over; whatever was happening, Stinger got himself involved in.
Jumping from the cliff, Stinger headed down to where the fight was and just as he took a few steps forward as the area grew silent, he then saw someone thrown across the area. It looked like a Pearl, but not one's seen before. She was white, wore a star insignia and held a spear in hand. Stinger saw her flung across the place as he heard the roar of another Gem Cerberus, which soon spotted and headed straight for Stinger. Taking out his blaster, he pulled out his blade, running and heading under the beast as his blade went through each of it's necks, having it defeated and it's body dissipate...
Stinger:"I think I've had enough of those."
Just as he was about to move on, the spear that the Pearl was wielding was through across from his head, landing in a tree. Stinger looked over to see that the Pearl he just helped was not looking so thankful at the moment. Seeing this as he time to leave, Stinger ran from the Pearl, hoping to find a way out of the forest. But he ran, something got him by the foot and tripped him, making him fall to the ground and dragged across it as he then flung to a more open spot in the area. As he tried as quickly as he could to recover, getting back up on his feet, something hit him from behind with the weight of a mountain, getting him smashed across a tree. Struggling to bring himself back up, Stinger only managed to turn around as he saw three gems in front of him. Not of Metronite, but of something else, each of them all bearing a star insignia. There was the Pearl, an pint-sized Amethyst with a whip in hand and a tall, powerful fusion of both a Ruby and Sapphire; a Garnet with duel gauntlets. They towered over Stinger, but each of them looked confused, unsure of what he is....
Pearl:"Never before have I seen a gem like that. It almost looks human."
Amethyst:"Maybe it's a new one we've never seen before."
Garnet:"I've seen something like this before. Well, two at least, and it was only for a second before they ran."
Pearl:"Do you believe that this one does not mean any harm."
Garnet:"Most likely, since it just helped as with the gem."
As they continued to discuss what they were going to do with Stinger, they had failed to notice that Stinger was pressing buttons on his gauntlet, powering up his arm. Amethyst had noticed at the final second, telling to others to watch out as a flash of light had covered the area. Stinger took this as his chance to escape, but the other gems weren't gonna let him off that easily. They chased after him, trying to stop him, but he proved to have been faster than any of them. Even though he proved to be more agile, they still had their skills. One by one, Stinger fought Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl individually, and had showed to have been a formidable against the three, but together, they proved to have been for too much for Stinger alone. Working as a team, they had pushed Stinger off his feet and Pearl had him at spear point...
Pearl:"That's enough, this is as far as you run."
Garnet:"Easy, Pearl. We still don't know if it's a real threat or not."
Stinger:"....Please...this is a mistake."
Amethyst:"Huh. So it does talk."
Garnet:"Just wait. I wanna hear what it has to say."
Stinger:"....I don't wanna hurt anybody."
Just then, the forest was then covered by a massive shadow from above. Everyone looked up to see a Metronite carrier coming down on them. The gems were confused as to what was going, but Stinger saw a hatch open from below and his eyes opened wide...
Stinger:"That's not good."
Pearl:"What's going on? What is that?!"
Something came out of the hatch, it was falling fast and soon landed not to far from where the gems were, building up a lot of dust. When it cleared, all four of them looked over to see a shadowy figure who then turned it's head towards them. And without warning, it moves and strikes the three gems, causing them to go "poof"! Then it took Stinger by the throat, smashing him to the ground before raising him over his head. Though his vision was now blurry, Stinger saw what it was that has him in it's grasp. It was all black, with purple energy flowing around it's armor; it looked male, wore a black trench coat and it's hands were claws. It's mouth was long, and full of fangs; it eyes were covered a purple visor and in it's free hand was a sharp looking sickle. Stinger knew exactly what it was...
Scapolite:"(echoey) Time to return to your roots."
Scapolite:"Would you be willing to bet the life of those gems on your resistance?"
Stinger:"....No. They have nothing to do with this."
Scapolite:"Then your choice has been made. Now let's go."
Without another word, Scapolite punches Stinger in the face, knocking him out cold. Then, levitating off the ground, he flies back to the carrier and enters through the hatch. And with that, the carrier leave from the woods, making a beeline for Metronite. The other gems were left behind, until someone had come by and picked them up, a young boy with curly hair who had a star on his shirt....
Boy:"What happened here?! I hope they're alright.... Wait, is that a...spaceship?"
