I love your images. I cannot choose a favorite. Your themes and textures are wonderful. They make me think of some many things...

I make more pottery and ceramic sculpture than digital art and some of your figures will find their way into the things that inspire me.

I don't know how well versed in ceramics you are, but you may be interested in looking up Cara Moczygemba, whose ceramic art is in a similar vein to some of your work. I don't know if she has her own a website or not, but you can find a couple of her pieces

Thank you for your comment!
As a matter of fact, I am an art historian and I was specializing in medieval sculpture (especially architectonical). I am fascinated in sculpture, and I like very much this one you showed me. I think what inspires me most are childrens fairytales and films made in 80. and 90. in Poland, Russia and Czechoslovakia. The way of creating space with usage of lights, different layers, fascinating techniques of puppet production... this is amazing. I will have a look at your art, but I cannot find anything here...

You use quite a few architectural elements in your pieces, some subtle. I've been fascinated by architectural ceramics (which led to sculpture) for quite some time now, but until recently never really had the urge to work on that kind of scale or with so much structure. For some reason I felt the need to recreate what I was seeing and couldn’t handle the scale, but I’ve finally figured how to make elements fit into my style. I like the way you use pieces of this and that to make something unique (“Forsaken” as an example). One of the things I like the most about tactile arts is the texture and age that can be put into them – depth and history, story, shadow. To my eyes you are doing something very similar in 2D (but I keep wishing I could feel all the bumps and divits I see – yeah, I have to restrain myself in galleries). Eventually I hope to get that kind of texture onto my sculptural forms.

I've loved fairytales, folklore and mythology for as long as I can remember and am always looking for different interpretations. Do you have any particular favorites of the movies you referred to, that I can get a hold of in the US?

You won’t find any of my stuff on DA. I’m a lurker and an admirer here. At least for the time being. I have a few things posted on my site: [link] - I must get better about photographing finished work.

Here are a few other artists you may find interesting:
- Peter King [link]
- Marcia Selsor (not a lot of info on her on the internet) [link]
- Mary Lou Alberetti [link]
- Also, the paintings of Susan Seddon Boulet. Not her early goddess pieces (though I love those too), but her later mythical images, like Diana, Diana II, Psyche and much of her Shaman works.

This is just beautiful. My eyes could look at this for hours and still find something breathtaking. So much depth and meaning in it, you can really relate to it - or find something in common with it. Hahaha - maybe I'm babbling, maybe you did this cause you're bored and it has no meaning, but I still find it hella cool!
