Daily Deviation

Given 2005-11-10
Moon Fairytale IV by ~elfka made me wonder if it was a classical painting rather than a manipulation. Just one example from this very talented deviants gallery. ( Suggested by JenaDellaGrottaglia and Featured by fourteenthstar )

Oh no, mono or close to monocolor pictures are ok, but never B&W. Dreams have too many colours to kill them:)

Beautiful idea and design work here. I think the spiral shells in the pegasus are well placed and the chess knights add to a sense of mathmatical wonder in the light of Alice in Wonderland. What is most appealing about this piece is the dream quality that seems to come from the clockwork moon and the dimmed clouds. Well done.

Hi, well, this picture is "painted" with the use own my own technique, which ich not quite photo manipulation. But there is not category that can match this technique.

Yes, I use, but not the way they are used in traditional photomanipulation. I use their substance as a paint on the end of my brush (this is not a methaphor). But this is a "secret of master's workshop" and I don't want to share it:) I think I discovered enough for you:)

This makes me think of chocolate and childhood.
Chocolate - those white and dark chocolate seashells.
Childhood - a series of books about mechanical/magical unicorns that I don't quite remember.

A beautiful and mysterious work. i can't point out exactly why i so like it.
it does not look photographic, the subtle graininess of the texture is really smooth to the eye, very graphic. there is a 'classical' feel about it, timeless, Reminds me of Terry Gilliam's fantaisies like "The adventures of Baron of Munchausen"
:finger: gah :+fav:
