I Love this painting, I am not a fan of abstract but love how the painting moves from a dark sad side to a colourful and happy side.
Staring at it I started to see more than one face, There seems to be an eye staring back at me and another sad face. Maybe the painting just makes people crazy if they look at it too long?. A painting should tell a story or invite the viewer to think and I enjoyed trying to imagine what the hidden face was like.
This work is different to your other work and showed a more aggressive use of paint that covered the eyes of your subject.
The overall impact is a painting that can be displayed with out having these eyes follow you around the room which can upset some people.
Absolutely loved this painting.
