I think it'd be really nice to see some more of those edge lines on the girl's shoulder used in other places in the piece. Overall, i love how this piece looks, but the dimensionality of the figure and the frog in some areas don't blend as well as I think they could together. Your color choices are great. I think you could stand to use a little more black or dark blue and purple; it seems very light. I love the hexagons in the bottom right too, and how you used them again on her cheek. Along with the edge lines, I think it'd be interesting to see these used in other places in this piece! Overall I would say this is a very good piece, especially for viewers; it is fun to imagine just what this piece is about or how it makes the viewer feel. You do that really well in all of your pieces.

The idea overall is wonderful and unique, it gives a twist to traditional watercolor painting. I also like the idea of the hexagons, they add dynamic to the painting, it looks cool! I'd say if there's anything to change, the left shoulder should be bigger, that way it's more in proportion more with the head, and I would add more to the color scheme. Maybe something to really compliment the blues, such as orange or maybe even red. I feel that'd give it a bit more of an edge. However, those are just personal preferences. You're piece is really just amazing! I also like how detailed you made the frog, it's nice! Great work!

I really like the frog and the shoulder area around it (especially with the honeycomb going on). I also like the mouth and nostril combo. The face is proportionally too big for the shoulders, but I don't know if that's deliberate.
A few things though, your angles are off; actually the eye is what makes it so confusing: the eye seems too high up, but i think the angles just too straight for the rest of the face that seems to angle slightly up. The eye also make the ear look to low or too small, but still I think the eye is what's messing with it. I could be good, but the angles make it wonky and a little hard to look at...
But keep up the good work!

Another one of your amazing pieces! This one acctually looks a bit more innocent. (if that makes sence) The eye looks real and the frog is so butifull! The shapes are a dramatic touch that puts the piece together. The splotches are just another one of your signatures and look spectacular as always! I don't know how you do it but you can make the face dissapear into the page! The hair flows down and dissapears into the back and it looks amazing as always. The bit of cheeky blush pulls all of the features together and it looks fantastic! The reddness of the lips looks perfect and the 'shading' is amazing as always! A beutifulll piece!

i think that too fit the body you would have to make her head smaller or at least make the body bigger. plus the angles a bit weird in the face. the ear is too close to the face, i think you could have put it back a little. And the ear is too low on the head. other that that its a lovely peice that totally represents the color blue. i think that your art is really lovely, please keep up the good work. nice frog! i would really like to see you get more into animals.

I thought I loved the green one out of the four, but no this is my favorite. I just find that the colour blue emphasises more colour! It really does get the message across of the female's feelings at this moment in time.
Like always, the facial tone is phenomenal, with the slight hint of red every now and then to show that the woman is still there, and that blood still runs through her veins. You never seem to get the lips wrong, they're always beautiful. The hair in this piece as well really stands out for me because of how fluid it seems to be, which completely contrasts to the rigid structure of the hexagons lined across her shoulder.
But of course, who could mistake the best part; the small dart frog. My favorite part. So subtle, yet really stands out as well. The animal itself has been drawn to perfection and I love the detail of tonal shading and light balance. Really love this piece, you should be proud! I'll be excited to see what you accomplish in 2013!
Well Done.

I like the hexagons. I've used them in a piece I did and I like what they do to a work.

The choice of colors is beautiful and your style is as beautiful as ever, although I find this picture lacks a bit of depth. It feels quite flat and, although the hexagons are a nice addition, they reinforce this feeling, I think.
In contrast, the deep shading on the frog really creates a feeling of form and this difference in treatments creates a conflict (for me at least) as to what is really the subject of your painting.

Probably a harder work to read than your previous ones, but still beautifull! :)

I am a huge fan of your work! You are so inspiring being so young and talented although I know it was only achieved through all the hard work you put into your pieces. I love the colors and subtle washout colors. I like how you put two very different things together but they still work with the composition placement and the color scheme! You are truely talented! I love it!
