non vedi niente - niente

you think to see - you don't see anything

it's the presumption of being able to see, it's a beginning of blindness.

This is a really beautiful piece. As always, your use of color continues to amaze me and the expressive quality of your painting is incredible. I love how it becomes difficult to tell where her face ends and the background begins. However, I think you could have done more with her expression. She doesn't seem to be thinking or feeling anything. It's a beautiful portrait, but would be so much more engaging if the subject were feeling something with her audience. Most of all, her eyes feel very dull to me. I wish there was more contrast in them. They are so light, she doesn't feel alive.

Beautiful work, as usual. I really enjoy this piece.

Ciao!
Usi qualcosa come cera o...?
Grazie e complimenti! Sarai la mia ispirazione!

Lovely work. Whether it was your intention or not to convey the eyes as both being open and closed is uncertain but that's what I initially saw. The fading of the eyes, which is usually the prominent feature in a portrait, holds you in a subtle pull. While the expression behind the dying gaze appears to be looking at something, knowingly for the last time. The fractured colors, somber, speckled and dripping down suggest that the color of life, the vivacity of sight is falling away; and soon the page, like the fading eyes, will be blank. Lovely but fleeting, like beauty itself.

This is absolutely beautiful and way better than i could ever do, but it leaves me wanting a little more detail in the eyes. That would have been perfection for me.

I love the use of negative space and the paint splatter to look like freckles! You have some really creative solutions.

I love your style of art!
this one in particular reminds me of an artist called Stina Persson. Similar work; I love both :D
