The first observation I made was the emotion in this painting, and how that was deduced was the very straight and (though the may seem random) fully-purposed lines you have drawn on top of the contrast of colours at the centre of the picture.
This speaks to me "everything is inter-linked" which is very true, my view of this character is that, as the author I believe you wished to put more focus towards the contrast of colour than the source (hence there are no eyes to see into), which could be considered a visionary move as you are demonstrating to any onlooker to see beyond the eyes, without the eyes what is there, the true essence of the soul and its emotions, which is the very essence of art.
I salute you at doing this, and hold this painting on a pedestal as it portrays my beliefs of art as well as, yours, the authors.
There is an underlying story here, which is based on the mysterious character you have created, this seems to be your true nature as an artist, I truly respect you for requesting my critiques as I feel I have the honour of getting to know the author as well as your beautiful universe of art, one puzzle piece at a time and for that I must wholeheartedly thank you.

Okay, first of all, I wouldn't change a thing. This is probably your best work. Your use of line is beautiful, I love the lightness of the line in the bursts of color. I think a little yellow could benefit this piece even more.
But seriously, keep up the fantastic work because it is just awesome! I honestly, don't think this piece could get critiqued to harshly because the silhouette is clearly visible and it brings to mind a super nova.
I know you probably don't critique digital work but I would like your input on my new works if you have the time.

When I first took a glance at this artwork I saw some nice water colours and dripping paints that usually feature in your work. Then I found myself looking for finer detail and saw the constellation-like white lines and followed them until I came across a face, then I saw shoulders then finally the person.
I love the way you have done this because you are taking the viewers' eyes for a "walk" across the paper, forcing us to look carefully. Perhaps it is part of the meaning of the painting; you have to look closely to observe this woman's greatness.
There are a couple of paint splashes (or whatever they're called) that are a bit too big taking away a bit of the delicacy of the piece. However, over all it is a great painting and it made me stop and look unlike most of artwork on this site. Good job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
