The empty space is definitely not an empty space. In this artwork, you have proven her art prowess again. While the concept and the general execution of the art is amazing; it's the emotion that the whole piece conveys that stood out the most. The colors helped a lot in conveying the emotions this piece has.
It's beautiful and amazing in it's own way and I feel like there's still more meaning to this piece than what my eyes could see. It's magical, it's enchanting; there are still more words that could be used to describe this painting but all in all; I want to say that whatever you're trying to show us; you definitely nailed it.

This quiet but beautiful painting shows that light/soft colors can have a strong impact.
Till now I was kinda a reluctant viewer of your art (but still an admirer) and now it is time to change that:
This one is one of your quietest and ressuring pieces but the powerfull impact behind it, is stunning.
I think the best artist doesn´t paint a big landscape full of details and colors, impressions and costly techniques. He could probably, but he won´t.
The masterly artist is able to focus the impression, he wants to hand up, on a few lines or touches of colors. The great thing about this painting is that you chose less colors and more emptiness, so that the observer can imagine his own part to it.
BUT this is of course a critique and not only a comment, so I should say somethig critical ^^... This is not your best painting I think but something like an inconspicuous diamond. The only thing I would change (if I could paint like this), is that i would emphasize the colors a little bit (maybe it´s just the scanner) or I would bring a little bit more movement in it. It is not a five to five stars painting to me, because it is not enough outstanding comparing to others of you.
(there´s more i want to say but sadly I´m german and my english vocabulary is not THAT big... I hope I was understood in my intention and I will go on practice writing critiques in english)
=> a slowly coming, quiet but impressive piece of art...

This piece is absolutely stunning, and looks like it has taken a lot of time and effort to create. The adding of colour to the hair is subtle yet stands out against the rest of the piece. The girl in the swimsuit and the pool are an almost everyday thing, yet the colour and pose along with the title of the piece make it seem fantasy just at a glance. There is an atmosphere of sorrow and desolation in the girl along with an almost desperation, in a way.
I can't really think of much to say by way of improving this piece- the only thing I can say is, the floor and the girl are very similar colours, making it hard to make out at times. If this was intended fair enough, if not adding a little extra shadow or colour to the floor could improve this.
All in all, a beautiful piece you should be proud of, and a pleasure to look at.

I've been watching your art for a long time and you never fail to impress me every time.

Considering the size of this painting, I'd say you did an excellent job with the execution of idea and the technique. I'm amazed by the amount of details you were able to put on this particularly with the hair and the water.

The color blends perfectly for the wash out effect and I love the details on her spine which gives emphasis to the story and emotions behind this picture.

To sum it up, I love everything about this image and your undeniable talent. Keep it up!!!

Well to start off I see a woman dipping her
head into water, she is on her knees and grasping
he edge of the pool.
I's fairly certain that your image did represent that quite well.

As for originality I've seen many people do this, but to be
honest it didn't seem to have a story, unlike yours. She seems to be washing
away something she regrets, the black bathing suit shows she's
uncomfortable with who she is....maybe she wants to find a new realm to
be herself. The colorful hair seems as if she struggles to keep herself together.

Your technique is fantastic (as usual) with the was you use the water colors and white pen in
such simple ways it creates a image that people can't take their eyes
away from!

Overall I would like to say I love your work and this piece shows how skilled you
are to use so little for so much.
Bravo.
