I personally find this painting one of the most interesting pieces of art I have seen ever, throughout all the time I was browsing deviantART and the net itself. Not to mention really that your paintings are absolutely stunning in general and this one artwork does not really distinguish from others in the way it has been made.
The model's expression and the hues in which she was drew compose with the lovebird in an absolutely gorgeous way. I can even see some sort of contrast between these two themes; the girl seems to be a little disturbed, sad, and the agapornis is neutral, or even quite cheerful. The overall realism fits the scenery very admirably; I presume if it wasn't for the model's bright hair and her complexion, there wouldn't be that much of spirit, and you have managed to capture it with an outstanding result.
Aside from this all, I wish there was some background in this. No doubt this work proves you to be a great artist, but the lack of some second plan gives the viewer some yearning for one.

the eyes are simply beautiful...lifelike to be exact.detailing of the skin, lips are pure magic. the hair color selection is also good. the color selection has always been a trump-card for you, creating magic out of colors is just evident from your work . i think providing a different color for the background will be good rather than leaving it white as such, by the way that's just my opinion. the work as a whole is simply beautiful , the effect this picture creates in our mind cant be explained with words, we are just taken to a different place. keep up the good work

This is just gorgeous! I've always loved the way you do portraites but this is something else. The use of color (as always) is very rich, the random spatters of color give a real sence of life and movement. I think the most captivating part of this portraite is the eyes, the shading and deep layers of color in them really draws the viewer to the centre of the piece. I think if i were to change anything in this painting, i think i would add a bit more to the hair, i would have made it look a bit fuller with darker colors. Other than that its breathtaking <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>

The splash of colour really makes this painting stand out, mainly because of how vibrant both the bird is, and obviously the hair. The thing I love the most though are the eyes! They're phenomenal. What makes them though is the darkness and lifelessness the eyes actually possess. They create a massive contrast between the vibrant splash and the dark sepia colour. The skin tone really looks fantastic as well, like it always does. I find that the way the nose and mouth are painted really show extreme detail, likewise to the eyes. In overall it's another superb painting. Well done.

This is lovely. I can almost feel what she is feeling by looking at her expression. The colours support this.
