It would depend on if it was a straight up fight or if the element of surprise played in. I believe that if Zevran got the first strike, he would win. But if it was a straight up, one on one fight, it would go to Isabela. But since Zevran is a trained assassin, he would take any opportunity that he had, meaning striking from the shadows and getting the upper hand. So based on that, I think he would have more of a chance of winning.

Isabela, cause yeah Zevran is an assassin, mostly trained to deal with his targets while they do not notice him or at the very least he has some sort of advantage like that ambush in DA: Origins. Isabela on the other hand honed her skill in individual duels, so she knows how to dodge, block or parry incoming blows better then Zevran. Not to mention that as far as cinematic narrative is concern, we saw that Zevran is not exactly the very best at his job, Isabela on the other hand hasn't lost a single time we witnessed(counting her introduction in DA: Origins and DA2). The only advantage i can see Zevran having over her is that at least he wears more armour then Isabela.....but then again considering how Dragon Age treats armour functions, it might as well not be a factor at all. Anyway Isabela, in a duel? is the one most likely to win.
