The Rainmaker by ageofloss The Rainmaker by ageofloss
I took a one day trip to Pori, Finland for new sceneries.
There was not much for me to photograph in that town itself, since I'm not that much into architecture.
However the sea shore offered plenty of things to shoot.
Here's one taken on Yyteri beach.

Edit: As some people mentioned the "thing" in the picture is used for frisbee golf as a goal.

Excellent shot - definitely a :+fav:!

Only crit would be to possibly add a gradient level adjustment to lighten just the ground - and perhaps just a bit of the sky.

Really nice work

A great shot. I love the very rich textures in the sky and ground. The tiled, tired looking composition is also very interesting. Great ominous atmosphere.

Top work

This is a Fantastic Picture. And well put together too.

What again is the piece in the middle? I see chains and stuff; you call it the rainmaker; it's been acquainted with frisbee golf....

So, do you have more info on it you'd care to share?

:peace:

Later!

Well that is a fresbee golf goal that's what the people told me when I submitted it here. I didn't know what it was either. I just wanted give it a more "fancy" meaning and made it the Rainmaker that's all. Thanks a lot for your comment.

Wow...the apocalypse!! that "thing" looks imposing!!! when I saw the title I thought about the John Grisham´s novel... maybe Rudy Baylor imagined his loneliness as a desert with one goal to reach=)

The picture makes me feel that I´m there! into a environment in which the sky and land collide. I love the contrast of the colors.;-)
