Nationality: American
Alias(es): Sp4gh3771
Affiliation(s): DedSec

History
Lorena is the third out of four children born to Dante and Cristiana Schiavone. Though her mother is a native San Franciscan, her dad immigrated there from Italy with his oldest brother in the 1980s. As a child, Lorena had competing interests in both dance and what was considered "nerd culture"; comic books, pop culture, obscure movies, video games, etc. She did have aspirations to become a professional dancer at one point, even going so far as to getting a coveted spot in a performing arts high school. However, only a year in to her time at the school she had become disillusioned to the reality of what it would mean to become a pro

So, I'm back from my long unannounced break from DA. Sorry about that. In the meantime, I got my life together for the most part and am ready and able to make more reviews and such if possible.

What's my first post back going to be about? A rant on someone of course as well as a piece of advice. The person of topic is none other than the PowerPuff Girls fandoms one and only SirClrwaterMK2.

For a little more context on what the situation is, SirClr himself has been working on two separate PPG related fan projects that he plans on selling to Cartoon Network in hopes of in his words, "Make PPG great again."

Throughout his time working on the projects, he has cancelled the both twice in relatively short time, and revived them both for a third time claiming that he doesn't plan on cancelling them again.

His issue with me is that I gave my critiques on the two projects and gave him the hard truth. He didn't seem to take two kindly to it and thus that lead to him cancelling the project for a third time before reviving the projects a third time. He is now unwilling to listen to any form of reason and seems to flip out whenever someone critiques his work.

So, SirClrwaterMK2, you have not only shown me that you are pretty delusional when it comes to how the PPG franchise should be handled from here on out, you've also shown that you are incapable of being reasoned with when it comes to criticism and advice on how to improve the quality of your works. Do you think being a hot head and being unable to listen to the words of your peers is how Craig McCracken maid the PPGs great?

Here's a screenshot of a post I made on his latest update. This comment was meant to be for the 3rd revival announcement of his projects, but I decided to let him be, and hope that he would realize his mistakes. He didn't. And so I asked...

To wrap this all up, a list of bullet points which were meant to be a response to his reply, but he blocked me shortly afterwards. Not surprised.

To SirClrwaterMK2...You

1.) Chill out.

2.) Get over yourself!

3.) Seriously, GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

4.) You need to think this whole project out more clearly and realistically. You aren't going to make PPG great again by just tossing random ideas together with sloppy effort and worst of all fetishes.

I mean come on, what's wrong with you?! I try to give you some reasonable advice and criticism and you take it in the worst possible way.

You're thinking far too little and aren't reaching big enough. The issue is that your trying to be true to the original all the while incorporating your own ideas to the mix witch contradict the original vastly. This project is suffering from a major identity crisis before it even comes out. It's a cluster storm waiting to happen.

5.) You want to improve on this idea, get an editor, get a decent artist, come up with original designs to make the show look unique, and have a realistic goal set out for yourself.

You're expecting this to be the next big thing to put PPG back on the map, but that's not at all what's going to happen, at least not with the way it is now.

Plan this out more and then release it to the public.

6.) I'm not fond of the later seasons of the original series for your information.

7.) Take criticism better.

That's about it guys. See you next time.
Let’s Talk About Reboots

This one has been a long time coming. I didn’t want to post this until I was sure that I got my point across without sounding biased against any form of reboots, remakes, or re-interpretations of any form of  media.  That and I have been both busy and lazy these past few days. As always, these are my thoughts and my thoughts alone on what I feel the community should keep in mind about reboots and you are completely allowed to disagree with them. In fact, I would like to here other people thoughts on this matter. Now, let’s begin.

What people need to understand is that not every developer of a remake is going to have your best interest at heart. In fact, most reboots in general are going to focus on catering to new audience rather than focussing on the ones that came before and thus, more often than not, reboots are going to be susceptible to some changes. Reboots are allowed to be as different and creative as they want to be and are completely allowed to make whatever changes they deem necessary for their show that they are producing.

When it comes to reboots, there is no one proper way to do them. There are some reboots that chose to follow in the originals footsteps, while others chose be more diverse. Both are special in their own ways.

That’s all for now. I was going to make this longer, but I decided to stop right here and just elaborate on this more in the comments section. Bye for now.
Let's Talk About Reboots
This was going to be so much longer, but I feel that this is good enough. Short, sweet, and strait to the point. If you want me to elaborate more, just comment down below.

Alright, so here's what's going on. I seem to have gotten used to navigating the site now (for the most part). That means that I feel comfortable to start posting art now. However, that won't be until I get a few things straitened out. I also want to address that I want to be written journal entries on things other than cartoon politics, but I have a few more things to talk about in those regards.
So basically, expect to see a few more journal entries about me venting on the stupidity of cartoon politics and other unpopular opinions. As soon as that's all done, I hope to never return to these topics again. I do not want to build up this reputation of talking about nothing more than what annoys me in life and I don't want this page that I have created to become a toxic mess.
I hope to have more interesting things for you all in a little while. Till next time. Love
