Description

I am going over my Photoshop tutorials since it appears I forgot everything I learned over a period of two months. The background is a stock photo I purchased, but the rest I made using an Custom shape tool and tweaking it with fx.

Oh wow yeah I know what you mean If you dont do it on a regular basis you tend to forget how to. I did something like this 12 years ago making watermarks like on a dollar bill and hadnt needed to do it again since and forgot how. Until I had to teach myself again. And most of the graphic art jobs Ive had over the years we maybe use half of the tools or techniques everyday that Ive forgotten how to use some of them until I want to make something new or different from the usual stuff and have to go back and try to do it again and learn all over again.  Plus I have to work with older software versions that may not be available like it would be in the newer versions so thats always a pain trying to find a way to do things differently in an old version thru trial and error. And I dont use Photoshop as much as I used to lately so Id have to brush up on it. For the recent jobs Ive worked did everything either in CorelDraw or Illustrator only. So I hardly use Photoshop as much I used to.

I went to the linda.com but it was an online school or something. But you can find tutorials from other sites. Ijust did one the other day to do a diamond pattern style steel look for another artpiece I had in mind for.

But like this tutorial I had to adapt what I could and find ways to make it work with an older version since both myself and employer doesnt have what was it CS6 version of Illustrator. you just have to find ways around to make it work. Do me a favor if you remember how you did it please let me know. Thanks
