The legend about Faenza's foundation is taken from actual real-life lore! The same goes about the historical notes in the last panel (well, some of them). Martin Mystére is supposed to be the star of these comics, but lately the official books have been more interested in "fake mysteries"; for this reason, we decided to slightly mock Martin, as he denies a real mystery! CICAP is a well known organization that unmasks real-life paranormal.
