It was early in the morning as Basia and her companions sailed down the jungle river with Nuru as their captive. Smoke from the Iron Forest’s destruction still flooded the sky casting a blood-red sunshine as it cast over. Nuru was fast asleep with two witches guarding her. Until one of them scooped a bowl of water from outside the boat and poured it all over Nuru! The princess jolted from shock screaming aloud struggling with her tied hands, the Night Witches in the boat laughed at her hysterically.
“Have a nice rest, your highness?” one taunted “The water’s cold and rich this morning, hmm?”
Nuru’s memories of what had transpired several nights ago, steadily flooded back. Her face became a menacing scowl and she grit her teeth fuming with anger. Again, both women mocked her.

“I said I wanted her found immediately!” Basia screamed aloud to her minions through the flying cinders “If the flames didn’t get her then I’ll make sure you’re left here dead and burning! Now find her!”
The Night Witches staggered across the grassland still searching for their escaped hostage, the Princess of the Iron Forest. Matters had become more complicated than Basia had expected. She had lost three of her mystics to Nuru and was already behind schedule with her master, the Storm Orisha, Oya. Basia touched the stub of her right shoulder where her right arm used to be. She anticipated punishment should she fail to deliver the princess to her master, probably worse than a missing arm like last time.
