Autumn Afternoon

Cape Town autumns are very pretty. The heat has dropped into the mid 20s (centigrade, for the US folk), and some early rain has fallen, but it's still quite sunny. There are number of plant that have very pretty blooms at this time.
We are deeply privileged to have such a space to spend our 4th week of lockdown. Hopefully only one more to go.

Yes, a lovely day. :D

Meanwhile we are looking forward to seeing warmer days. We broke 10oC today.

double less 10% + 32. I think even I could remember that.
Even our winters in Cape Town generally break into double digits during the day. And minima are usually only 2-3 on really cold days.
It is hard to conceive actually voluntarily living in such cold, wet, grey conditions! No wonder the Brits invaded the rest of the world - the weather drove them out!
