Back, and forth. Back, and forth. Back... and forth.
Thus went the rice harvest as it always did. Monotonous, grinding.. perhaps. But to Mahta, cathartic. Belluvide slowly walked the old streets of their home, gazing into each of the buildings and structures amongst the earth and rock. The human residents had long since fled, leaving the tunnels and hollowed-out halls to be taken up by more humble beings such as arachnids and small mammalian fauna. Belluvide hardly minded the company, so long as their new neighbors proved to be none too destructive. While exceedingly rare, the esk had now and then needed to compel a creature to leave the place. As Thea finally woke up, her senses were met with the savory sight and smell of a burrito her housemate had prepared for her. She couldn't recall Vici asking like she usually did, so Thea figured it was another of the small one's surprise meals.
"Thank," Thea offered to the face staring eagerly up at her beside the table.
A few seconds of silence passed as Vici stood there after. At last, she replied, "Once you're finished with that, head on out here, if you would. Today is a very exciting
