Wow, this piece is intensely stunning. It's well drawn, with a sense of realism that is just short of incontrovertibly convincing - the hands, in particular, look like they could be real hands photoshopped into the image. Furthermore, the folds are very well made. The image is very detailed - a ring on her finger, lines of what look like actual characters on the fan, the luxuriant folds, the strands of her hair, and the detail is appealing and adds to the interest of the image. It also allows for an amazing play with light and shadow - finding so many nooks and crannies for light to go into is not an easy task, and the artist pulls this off quite well, though perhaps the face could use a tad more light (that's just my thought though). The overall look of the image is incredibly mystical because of the blue light swirls and the overall lighting effect, and the fan gives it a very Eastern Magic feel. I also like the glowing image on her right wrist, which to me looks like a hexagram from the I Ching, and adds, therefore, to the Eastern Magic idea. Overall, this piece is wonderfully done.

I always love pieces that have dramatic lighting effects. This is one is no exception. You had trouble with two lighting sources, backlighting and down to the right. You handled them marvelously. Smoke really lights up when backlight as well as the halo around the head. Errors in lighting are that the sides of the fan blades are lit on the opposite side and a shadow would have been cast on breastbone. But as effects go, it adds nicely to the general overall appearance. I struggled also with two lighting sources. It's tough to combine the two reasonably. When the eye looks at this, it make sense overall and becomes pleasing. Now if the fan isn't a light source but is going to soon burst into flames, well it's all good then. It's the bonus of creating fantasy, anything goes. Jewelry looks fantastics as well as her hair changing from red to blue. Also I adore the fact that her lipstick matches. (All so important to a girl like me.) The smoke looks absolutely GREAT. I'm a painter, not a manip so I can only comment on composition.

Amazing sense of:

- Lightning: clever playing between the night elements and the light of the spectre, giving the picture some mythic aura (which tells me we should be afraid, very afraid!);

- Colour Perception: perfect combination of hot and cold tones, which is extremely not an easy thing to do;

- Movement: strategic and subtle use of elements (e.g. hair, smoke) that provoke in the viewer the sensation that this character will just pop out of the screen any time.

All these facts translate a perfect domain of the technique in photo-manipulation and also, at the same time, cause a great impact in those who are appreciating it.

I have to finish by agreeing with the artist: `Elandria is gorgeous, and always a great choice in the stock world!

(Sorry for the english faults, and keep up the great work <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/c/c…" width="25" height="25" alt=":clap:" title="Clap" />)

I really don't know what I love the most in this digital painting, I've been brought here cause of the beauty of the character and once looking at the full view I've got amazed by the details you've put in this. The look in her eyes looks unreal, as if she was a witch, the fan is looking even better than the real one in the original photo you used a reference, and the hair is simply beautiful, the way it floats in the hair is really well made, it really looks like if she's using the fan. As for the colours you decided to use, I can simply say that I love cold tones in general, so I'm always happy to see images with blue/green tones in them. I have to say that the idea of using red for the hair gives something special to this image and makes it look less predictable than what it could have been!

I love the colors and the whole idea behind the picture. The only thing that I really do not like is the proportions of the eyes, nose and lips. The overall shape of the face is good. I like the shape because it is unique and different. But the eyes, nose and lips just look uneven. But overall, you did a very nice job!
