Docela mě to otravuje. Určitě mi dáš za pravdu, že samotný design a online verze spolu mají téměř pramálo společného. Možná nápad a barvy.

There's not a whole lot that I can say about this design, other than that it is GREAT! The navigation at the top is very simple and clean, but very effective and easy to find your way around the site (once I translated it anyways, lol :P ). The Google map is what really caught my attention though: being able to track your biking stats on this particular social community would be a HUGE feature! Imagine the possibilities: you decide one day to go for a really long biking trip (let's say you plan to cover 100 miles in a few days), so now you can take a look at this map, and see if any other members would be nearby your destination or on the way! Then you can meet up and bike it out together. Great idea! I'm not entirely a fan of the light-colored titlebars on the left side for the routes and top cyclists, maybe if they were a darker grey (but just enough to make them a slight bit lighter than the content below the titlebars?). The right side is a little plain in comparison to the rest of the site. Maybe you could include some kind of signup form for the photo gallery stream (if you used Flickr maybe?) so that people can join the Flickr group and upload their own adventurous photos to the website as well! Or maybe since they'd already be registered on the site itself, and the site has it's own gallery system, you could have a "browse by region" button or something to help filter content. It'd be a great way to get people interested in biking in different regions. Everything else looks really good. It's a nice, smooth, clean site that's easy on the eyes, and I'm sure I'd have an enjoyable time visiting this site! :D

And yes, I do realize that you are not the programmer on this site, which is quite unfortunate. It looks like you had a far better idea than what it looks like right now :(

WOW, thanks for such a comprehensive feedback! ^_^ And I'm sorry you had to translate parts of the site because it's in Czech, so I really appreciate your time spent there :) You are most probably right about the imbalance of sides under the Google map. It didn't come in my mind when I made it, but now as you've pointed it out.. Yes, it could be done more balanced, better :) Thanks once more for everything you've written here, it will surely help me to make my future works better

And yes, programmers can really be blunt in the terms of design application. Sadly, I make site as a whole in about third of all webdesigns I did. And the rest is usually just design made externally for someone, where programmer doesn't care so much, and these are the results :/ And those even got full HTML+CSS code to work with.. Just makes me sad :(

No problem at all :) I'm always more than happy to give some constructive feedback on someone's work. That's what deviantART is all about, right? :) As for the programmers, I never used to be one mainly because I just liked doing the designs, but after having a few coders completely destroy a couple of my designs, I decided to learn how to code in PHP as well (as I already knew basic HTML/CSS).

Anyways, keep up the great design work, and just let me know if you ever need any help, ideas, or advice on any of your work! :)
