Manly flag poi

so, I'm making some really nice flag poi, and i start experimenting with dye. I open a package of fabric dye that is very clearly supposed to be hot pink, but this is not hot pink. So I ran with it. And I ended up with the most masculine looking set of flag poi I've ever seen.

I need to work out something a little more attractive for the end weights, but they work really well.

Also, that giant cat behind is attached to a roly-poly kitty named Junebug who refuses to not be all up in my biz when I'm making poi.
