I did some more work on this - still trying to get things a bit better (which is why I took the print down). I got some things more the way I wanted them, partially fixed some anatomy etc (changed the eye color too because I wanted him to look less human), and got rid of a lot of the streaking which was from the brush skipping when I used the other computer. I will probably update this again. Any suggestions would be appreciated though - especially with color, not everthing is obvious to me although they might be very obvious to someone else. Hopefully at least this looks a little better than the original.

Some more Mythos inspired art. Who would have predicted?
Some things now because they will probably come up later-
I took some liberties with the picture (as usual) - if someone thinks I butchered it, or that it's way different from what they imagined...well, sorry.
Also, the script is meant as an in joke, not really to be taken super-seriously - nevertheless it most certainly does say something (although translations will vary). If someone is offended that I actually had the nerve to write something (which I will reveal is NOT a Lovecraft quote) - well, sorry.

Anyway, this took a long time (several hours a day for maybe 3 weeks), and I was pretty much pushing my poor old computer nearly to death (the layered picture ended up around 95 MB). Every time I saved the thing I thought my computer was going to have the mechanical version of a heart attack. The image for DA is set at a lower resolution and scaled down, but I'll put some details somewhere (I'm still trying to decide whether I should put them in the main gallery or scraps - decisions!

I also have looked into things since my last Mythos related stuff - as far as I can tell, it's perfectly fine to submit a print (yay!).
(print file is 200 res, about 3200 pixels height, Karmex not included...
