Gardevoir, Verdant Soul Knife (Gijinka)

Born under an ominous crescent moon, Gardevoir's entrance into the world was marked by the peculiar manifestation of telepathic powers. Abandoned by parents who feared her strange abilities, she was discovered by an elderly thief, a member of a secretive guild of psychic rogues. The thief, seeing potential in the abandoned child, raised her with the skills of the underworld, teaching her the arts of combat, acrobatics, and stealth. From a young age, Gardevoir was inducted into the guild, a collective of psychic rogues who used their powers to manipulate and steal.

Despite her initial reluctance, Gardevoir grew fond of her new family, finding camaraderie and a sense of belonging among the rogues. Her telepathic powers flourished under their tutelage, and she became one of their most skilled operatives, mastering both her psychic abilities and physical prowess. However, as she delved deeper into the guild's operations, she discovered their darkest secrets: the exploitation of child labor and the trafficking of slaves.

Her innate sense of justice clashed violently with the guild's immoral practices. Torn between loyalty to her surrogate family and her own ethical convictions, Gardevoir made the heart-wrenching decision to leave the guild. Now a rogue in every sense of the word, she is on the run from her former allies, hunted by those she once called friends. Yet, driven by a fierce determination to dismantle the guild and free its captives, she also becomes the hunter, seeking out the leaders to bring them to justice and end their reign of terror.

This OC commission was requested by a friend who wanted me to create a "gijinka" (or anthropomorphization) of the Pokémon Gardevoir, envisioning her as a psychic rogue character. They desired a unique portrayal that blends Gardevoir's green, white and red motif with the sexiness and sleekness of a rogue.
