Hi! I'm the person talking to you from Red-B, about Mononoke art and yours should be up if it isn't already!i Thanks for sharing the 'LOVE' of this incredible show(s) (Well, I think the original artist was the one who didn the art and story from the last 'third' of the 'Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales' (Honestly, I realize they'd bring the WHOLE catalog produced by Geneon BACK and the could combine it into one, cohesive series. The first ep. in the 'Mononoke' show has elements not explained unless you've watched the pilot, first (like the little balance/scale things. Plus, his transformation kicks butt in the way, none of the others, do (the 'Sea Bishop' one, is also stunning).
Anyhow, you've REALLY captured the super-hero, (but ego-less) quality that makes this man so mysterious and draws you in, to make you want to know more!
Let me know if you have any more 'themed' pieces come up. I'm VERY interested!
Sorry I just saw this! I do indeed have more Mononoke-themed art coming up! I've got a good 3-4 watercolor paintings of it in the works, at least. ^_^ (And yes I LOVE his transformation, so good!)
Nice work, I can see the mononoke inspiration in your works
I love the detail on this
It's great! And the gold ink gave it a very interesting look
Thank you! ;_; I think so too.. the gold always looks better in person since it's shiny, haha. But I think it scans pretty well.
8D Yayyyy I ADORE these BRIGHT colors!!! >w< and the butterflies look so nice ^w^
Thank you! <3 XD The butterflies are actually a little darker red looking in person.. but my scanner brightens some colors even more haha. I'm so glad you like it though, and I love bright colors!
his one is great! I love the colors, especially for his skin and lips
