I don't know who did this, i added the colors.
If someone knows who did it please send me a note or anything, so i can add him to the credits.

Check my profile for a download link to get all my coloring work (with the .psd included).

Well, if you have the sketch you could always use a reversed image search.

I have the original sketch yes (at least i think i do) and i already did that... I also went and asked people on /mlp/ and derpibooru about it.
I do that for every drawing that i color.

I don't want them credited as anonymous, believe me.

I've got to say I really love your coloring Adequality! I know you're not the guy who draws the lineart, but without your coloring I doubt many of these drawings would ever have been noticed by myself (and I'm sure others).

Anyways just wanted to say you're doing an awesome job!

P.S. I finally learned how to use the mask tool to remove while backgrounds from pictures thanks to you! Definitely going to use this technique from now on.

Oh wow, thanks or the compliment.
Believe me the charm comes more from the drawing itself than from the colors I'm adding.

You mention masks, although i use a lot of masks i don't use them to remove the white background on these monochromatic pictures i've been coloring. I use masks to "fix" parts of the image.
For removing i mainly separate white from black using this action by Jeya.

Hope that helps.

Oh yeah! That was one of the first links I found when searching how to remove white backgrounds. It's been a while since I've messed with actions in Photoshop so I skipped over it at first. I'll have to check it out now.

I found this tutorial youtu.be/k0STJnKYwyQ?t=1m5s and used it to get rid of the white backgrounds. I wonder if one method is better than the other?

Well using the action is quicker i think.

I have fiddle with it to see which is better and the only difference i can find is that when using the action, the end result is the same image with an additional channel in the channel tab called "Alpha" (simply put, another word for transparent). Which is another way to do it i suppose.

Other than that, they look the same so use, whatever.

Ah if that's the case, then I should definitely switch to the action. Thanks for testing it out.
