After four years, my original character Sali was due for another portrait. He's a teenager now, after all!

This was the spontaneous result of a doodle that happened while I was working on another painting, and also an experiment with a softer painting style. I based his wings off of goose wings...they're so gorgeous and fluffy. The cherry blossoms and glass gems are pretty things to symbolize Sali's love of nature and tendency to collect shiny objects, as all his kind do. ^__^
