QUICK SALE

Journal Entry: Thu Jul 12, 2012, 10:47 AM
SALE!!!
I am going through a tough time that really isn't breaking me down but I'm kind of running out of money. All the funds from this sale are actually going back into the fox harvest, which is going to have some pretty cool stuff this year from what I recall.  I am doing this because I might have to pay a higher rent which causes me to hold no money for the market unless I sell something. Without buying from this year's market I will run out of things to sell to people and there for I will lose my business I'm working hard to keep up and I'm not the only one who is going to be relying on me keeping up sales and business so its overly important to me for I am not really supporting myself anymore and I have a very heavy weigh on my shoulders to keep this going.
So please every sale counts!!!

Alright I do NOT have pictures of these items at the moment; I will most likely not be able to get pictures for my cord to my camera was in my computer bag that was stolen when my shop got broken into.  I do NOT have a phone it ONLY works in my car NEMISIS and I cant drag pelts in my car to take photos. LOL
So I will tell you everything the best I can. Some things may sound like they are crap when you take the chance they are actually pretty nice. But I'm going to hit you with everything I see.

All items include Shipping!!!!

COYOTES:

Regular coyote pelt:
big Boy, no real issues home wet tann, choppy leather needs to be oiled and beaten if want as a wall hanger and or a soft tan. This coyote has a few holes for I did use this guy as a practice hide. Not major holes all small knife holes that sew up with no real issues.  Hide was prepped for taxidermy, lips split eyes split ears turned ect! Would make a pretty cool dancing skin. Or mount/rug, has a small hole on top of head other than that I think the face is just fine and has nice facal markings.
Asking $75

Red/Blond Coyote pelt:
No real issues, everything is there, Home wet tan, has some nice coloring more of a blondish yellow, has cool white claws too no blacks or anything on this pelt pure red color. Has a few nicks in the face I think they are scars and of course I did nick this guy also in the face around the jaw line. Has a few holes was a pain in my ass to flesh this bastard. Open skinned everything is prepped for taxidermy great unique dancing skin. Again needs to be oiled and beaten/tumbled to get soft.
I am asking $150 it's what I paid for it as a raw pelt not including the shipping that cost me $160 for five coyotes in one box. OI
sta.sh/01gxfjpxjqy0

BLACK COYOTES!!!!
All black coyotes listed are seconds, in other words they might be craft skins or wall hangers only. They have some issues to them. The price is either the price put into the pelt or put into the pelt plus tan. Does not include any mark ups in fact mainly marked down to sell quicker.
Black coyote#1
GLACIER COYOTE, this is a black coyote with Lots of silvers to it. All paws claws prepped for taxidermy hide. Home wet tan. Holes in the leather………I HATE fleshing coyotes. Legs need to be fleshed a second time, this boy is pretty problem is they guy sold him to me never told me his ears where bare! So no good fur on ears, they are turned though and has mange on legs and elbows. But not too bad.  Rug cut again need to be oiled and beaten/tumbled would make a awesome dancing skin and can even be mounted just paint over the ears that are already naturally black LOL
sta.sh/0osy5emo8en
$225 OBO
Black Coyote#2
Another home wet tan, prepped for taxidermy has holes in the hide this time its cased skinned little female has great color needs to be fleshed down more oiled and tumbled.  Good for taxidermy just has a few holes……….maybe a lot I didn't actually check knowing me yes holes!!! Can be used as a dancing skin rug anything you want. Nothing is missing on this girl good tail too!
sta.sh/01xp4nztiy88
$250
Black Coyote#3

Dry tanned by PLT  I will ask for the tanning price on these guys, Big old mean male coyote, prepped for taxidermy but is rubbed in-between shoulders. Has a few scars and cuts on face including a facial wound under the eye that looks like it sews up.  Grey muzzle and specked face, real cool actually white spots everywhere. Would make a cool looking cape gray going all down the legs  and has a smooth back just passed the rubbed shoulders so could make a great fur pillow or something. Split in tail needs to be sewn but all there.  Coyote could be mounted but not good enough to me. would make a great cape for a wall mount or pedmount. Or great dancing skin.  Hide has been cut open

$250

Black Coyote#4
Feel sorry for the coyote that died? Well this guy probably made the wrong choice and crossed the road. He is a road kill black coyote. Found forever sleeping on the side of the road. So have a guilty conscious but always wanted a black coyote? Well he's for you.  This guy is Road rash. He is soft tanned by PLT, and is a bit of a wirery guy, but seems to have a full coat, some missing hairs here and there on one side and a hole in his tummy, I rug cut him because to me he was a second.  He has nice pure black legs and a nice face and ears.  He is prepped for taxidermy could be mounted with no issues or could be made into one of those dancing skins its up to you what you want to do with him.

$300

Pale Blond Coyote hide no head was a mounted coyote so clay still in the feet sewn up the back. $30 shipped beautiful coyote. Pure white feet!

Hybrid coyote Back half with back legs,  no tail missing half of its tummy  rubbed shoulders but nice fur on the butt area 25$ i10.photobucket.com/albums/a14…

FOXES:

Selling for a friend OLD FOX STOLES
2 reds
1 nice silver.  MAKE OFFER. Silver has all feet no missing parts. Reds have no feet

Dakota golds:
Crap tan all there prepped for taxidermy, missed a step in tanning the wonderful neutralization so they did not tan up well! One male one female. Both will sale for 250, latterly the price of one fox!

Golden sunrise fox:
Was soft mounted when stuffing her, her belly gave out never sewn back together belly is too week demounted her might has some holes in the ears needs to be washed. Possibly could be remounted everything is there. Back legs are plushed, yes she can actually still be mounted once sewn up the belly. She has pure gold markings and a huge white tipped tail.
sta.sh/019hb4odklr4 sta.sh/0rwk7gdqt6l
Silver fox:
Tanned by PLT holy, HOLY.  A NMC fox  that was dried out. I started fleshing it but when my lightest tries just cut through the skin like it was rice paper I threw it back in the freezer and shipped them all to Shelby to be saved.  TOO holy to be soft mounted possibly, traditional mount YES, prepped for taxidermy  has a white foot white spot on chest and belly. Pretty pretty fox.
sta.sh/01fb7p4yagh1 sta.sh/0298smbvji9z
$275

White Mark Silver fox:

NOT MOUNTABLE, I got this fox from :iconskinnedfawxtaxidermy:  I had plans to mount this fox but when I got it the hide was just way too old to do anything. Rehydrating this fox will only cause it to fall apart. All paws claws are there. Bad tail, But a pretty fox none the less! Please note buy this fox with the respect that it was very dear to someone and keep it as a wall hanger.

275

Sun Glow fox:
Lorence, my female sunglow fox, great mix of reds and blacks all throughout the body, and very spotty. She is not mountable for she has a huge hole in his side that only grows bigger when you try and fix it.  But lorence can be used for a cape or half mount. But do to her age I would like to not sell her as being mountable only as a wall hanger.
ripper by AdarkerNEMISIS     the dificult reds by AdarkerNEMISIS

Do you happen to have any pictures of the blonde coyote lying around? And do you think the leather is suitable for crafting and whatnot?

Sadly I don't have some one, after reading one of Lupa's journal I learned that in reality wildlife or taxidermy items can't be shipped outside US without a proper permission/license, so basically I got 2 pelts and all of my tails "illegal" without knowing lol (well not exactly illegal but not in the proper way).

So maybe I could ask Zhon for the favour but still I have a soft mount to pay although... believe me, if it wasn't for that I would REALLY buy that Silver NOW... I'm so sad to read that you will not get more silvers this year because of the price... I guess I will have to wait more for my silver D:

LOL

so i know your pain. so im starting to plan ahead of time before i only end up with 3,000 for foxes this year which would only get me 8 foxes and that not enough to even run this joint!

That blonde/red coyote is super cool! Has interesting facial features, too.

Aside from needing to sell some of my own stuff, I have no idea what I'd be able to do with an open-skinned yote. :hmm:

You and Leslie are killing me with your sales...and my shoe collection. :D

you do the same thing with a open skin as much as you do with a case skinned or dorsal. i dont get why people hate on Rug cut hides i love them. i actually personally cut these ones after i tanned them. to ensure they where SECONDS and not anything worth my time. it keeps me from getting them mixed in with the good stuff.

lol i sure we dont mean too do that to you LOL.

If I may so inquire; how is rug/open cut different? It is just cut along the belly? (Is it the same as ventral cut?)
Reply
:iconadarkernemisis:
AdarkerNEMISIS Featured By Owner Jul 12, 2012  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
its cut up the belly after being a case skinn, cut to the throat left the bottom jaw intact. people undersand better when you say rug cut. no real differnce.

I'm not hatin' on open skins! :D And you ARE onto something - my entire collection is either flat (back hide area rugs, wallhangers) or soft mounts - don't have room for trad. mounts.

He'd be suitable for mounting? Since he is a second. Assuming I could hang him, but would like to do something more fun than slapping him to a wall.

Finding the dA taxidermy community has been bad, bad news for me. You two? :innocent: Na....

LOL it wasnt just you alot of the time people wont buy a hide because its open skinned. it bumbs me out, if anything put the time into and sew it up or something but again its just most people will take them cased or dorsal but not rugged.=( to me with the damage some times rug cut hides alot of it makes it look nicer instead of case skinned just make it look worse. but again i usually rug things too so some people wont attempt to mount it if i dont want it mounted LOL. im horrable

im running out of room for trad mounts hints why one of the items in the sale was a traditional mount i took apart.

i usually dont like selling on here any more, i go to etsy but with out a camera i cant post picture of these items on etsy =( LOL well you know i do appriciate you looking :tighthug:

Bah. I would love this guy as a soft mount.

And I will continue to lurk around - I can almost guarantee you'll have more that I'll like, so...this will not be the last from me. :devilish:

I remember seeing you had the Dakota Golds on etsy!

Very interested in the pale yote as well as the back half of the hybrid. What type of tan is upon it?
Reply
:iconadarkernemisis:
AdarkerNEMISIS Featured By Owner Jul 12, 2012  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
the hybrid was a wet tann by PLT and the pale coyote hide was just a soft tan less then a year old. only has a slight stiffness to it because its been on a form for a few months LOL.

the hybrid fur looks wet but it actually has some nice fur to it, i just wish the person who skinned the fucking thing had half a brain not to cut the shit out of it. fucktards.........i was pissed about that and i paid a shit ton for that pelt. but it does have some nice back fur not at all like the picture posted its just the only one i have.

Aw shoot. I don't have room for a wet tanned pelt at the moment :( It's very pretty.. unless it can be stored dry? Seems a wet tan needs to be kept in the freezer, correct?

>.< Oooof, sounds like a mess, poor thing. I'm betting it could still have some use in the right hands. But indeed though, definitely interested in the pale yote. :)

i have it already dried out and groomed abit, all you need to do is beat it or use as is. i will not ship it wet tanned no use LOL.

well i caped it out had the most beautiful face on it! so i want to still mount it. i just cant work with the back hide.

so if you still want them both i can ship them in the same box. hell i can throw you an exstra if you dont want it throw it away but im sure some one might beable to cut the fur off and use it or something lol
