Calico-Crisis by AdarkerNEMISIS Calico-Crisis by AdarkerNEMISIS
Full collar calico fox- CRISIS or better known as Gorgeous George. He does go by several names, but you should know him all as the GODFOX. Simply because most of the calicos here on DA where produced from him. he is also the iconic image of a calico, when you look for a calico he will most likely pop up as a reference. He may not look it now, since he's old and grey!

This is Him in his younger years. He was 7 years old before he died.

I was also told not to show him for awhile simply because of who he was, its been over a year and the guy I got him from loves to tell everybody anyways. He is extremely special to me, one of the few foxes that will go with me to the Grave. I was picked to get him, and told I deserved him. it meant a lot after several years in the market, but it was more so the words that came with him than the fox its self. it was like a reward of some sort. I was told to never to sell or trade him!

The fur on him is super thick! and he has a tail that would put the Fawn in its place! hes a huge old fox and even though his colors are faded and his face is all grey mixed so its hard to see his full mask. hes just a beautiful fox!

the pictures are from when he first arrived, Infact these pictures where taken after I got shot.  Rome and Him have kept me company after I got out of the hospital last year so he means so much to me! He right now is in my freezer or else I would of gotten newer better pictures. I also have NO plans for him, I'm not touching him till I become a hella lot better than I am. and he will most likely be LS. so don't freak out on me!

hope you all enjoy!

Did this boy survive the fire? I know you lost some items in your freezers, I hope he wasn't one of them, he's gorgeous ;_;

Yeah, hes frozen away in the freezers that were in my garage. however I had some nice critters in the freezers I had in the house and lost all of those too. I keep a lot of the tanned items in the garage stand up and the raws in the box freezers. It sucks because I had just gotten my entire coyote collection back from the tannery 4 days before the fire and lost my pied, white and everything else. I'm really upset about losing my piebald coyote the most out of everything.

He's like an old grey king. I do agree with the previous owner though, you do deserve him.

I know, he's not as bold as he used to be, definitely looks like a godfox big old boy! He held up his fur pretty well thick thick fox. Maxing how grey he got.

God Fox does suit him, man this guy is a beauty! You must be proud to own him, that sounds like such a touching story that goes along with him, not to mention he's been with you in rougher times.

Beauty fox as always~

Wow, wow, wow, what a stunner! It's sad to hear that he's passed. I saw his pictures floating around the Internet several times, so this actually is a fox I was somewhat familiar with. You are incredibly honored and lucky to have received him from his breeder.

May I ask, do you have a fox named "Rome"? I read that in your description and thought that was interesting as I too, have a fox named "Rome": Rome's Perch. Kristen originally named him "Romeo" but when I purchased him from Leslie, I dropped the "o" at the end. I then named my second fox "Athens" to match: Red Whitemark Fox 'Athens' and my third, purchased from you, I named "Sitka," (another city name, though this time an Alaskan city since he was an Alaskan fox): fox lot

Yeah, he is true my special to me! Its one of those foxes I didn't ask him for or anything. It was a surprise when he told me over the phone.

Yup, I have a fox named Rome. Its an amber white mark Amber White Mark- Rome by AdarkerNEMISIS

I just love that guy! It's funny the choice of names, I usually name my favorite pelts after words in a a dictonary. The idea came from someone else here on DA who named their pelts after famous artist and music artists. Mine always end up rather agresive, Nemisis, adversary, felloney, culprit, Novis, Nibiru, incidious... etc. Though I'm running out. But I just loved the name rome.  Something about it. So I waited for the right fox and I picked the amber for it.

I love the idea of naming them after cities, sounds cool and unique characteristics to you that make you, you. I'm honestly not one for, native or words that mean. Fox, COYOTE other language's.

Aww, that's so special.

And I agree, Rome is an excellent name for a fox. :) Your usual batch of names are always so interesting and unique, too.
