Albino- Rat SOLD by AdarkerNEMISIS Albino- Rat SOLD by AdarkerNEMISIS
putting this pup up for auction. this is for a Softmount only, and no I don't care or want to hear about how "it needs to be lifesized." I got it to be a softmount and that's what i'm going to sell it as unless you would like to buy it as a pelt for the same price as it would be a softmount.

this is a full albino, however he does have some markings on his legs that you can see in the pictures. this is a small wild PA fox and does have quite a few scares on his face and ears.

this could be a one time opertunity to get an albino mount. I still need to order the eyes  so it will be awhile before I am able to work on it. but I thought I would throw it out there. There is a VERY HIGH price on this fox simply because I paid a lot for it as a raw pelt.

if I don't get any interest or reasonable offers I will keep this guy to myself. ive been slowly getting attached. LOL.

he is rehydrated and frozen in my freezer.

Fox is $1,650 shipped.

Payments are OK, as long as I can get 1000 down 25% is non refundable if you wish to change your mind. The rest is due when the eyes come in with in a few months.

for a poseable its an additional $175. I send them to MidnightWolfDesgns who I believe does the best poseable/armature out there.

Because its a big priced item I would take a payment plan. However 1000$ is required as a down and 25% of it is nonrefundable. The remainder can be paid throughout the months or the rest is due upon recieving the eyes for completion. Which is going to be several months wait.

Sounds good to me. Message me your paypal account please. I'll probably do half of the remaining total in a month and the rest when you get the eyes.

Pretty!! I thought it was a yote at first too x-D Wish I had the money for this bugger ;;v;;

I'm glad you said the "I don't care or want to hear about how "it needs to be lifesized.""
I can't express how tired I am of hearing people saying, "Ohhh it's a shame you're not lifesizing it!"
I find it insulting to the artist, it's not like a newbie is mounting it LOL!
People did it to Krissy too fairly recently and I was just like "Can we not?"

Some people prefer soft mounts/posable mounts. No one cares whether you like it or not.. if you don't like it, don't buy it LOL
I like them because I love taking pictures of them. Taking pictures of lifesizes can get kinda boring with the same position every picture. LOL

eh tell me about it, like really what do people expect from a softmount artist? than to flat out say, its sicking or disrespectful. like please tell me how mounting it up as a LS is going to do it any better? I always found I funny how people who do these rare endangered animal headdress like snow leopards and shit and people are all. Its their pelt let them do what they want, yet when it comes to foxes or coyotes.............NO you going to ruin it!!!!!

people don't realize either how much I actually have set aside for LS mounts. I literally keep about 1-2 fox per coloration that best show the mutation for a LS. sorry I haven't mounted any for LS right now, in my little Town home where I have absolutely no room for LS mounts. besides LS DO NOT sell! for the time and effort you put into them people don't want to pay for it, nor do they "have the room" yet those same people who complain about softmounts are the same ones who complain about them having no room for them.

I'm having pretty much all my able personal softmounts done up in Poseables because while I do not do conventions anymore most of the time they sit around doing nothing but I cherish them like they are apart of my family. so I figured why not do poseable and have them sit or lay pretty on a shelf or I can go out and take pictures of them.

I actually have 4-5 softmounts that I made for myself. LOL the rest I set aside for LS mounts. just because I don't Flont them around like I used to doesn't mean that I actually don't put the time into them.

but hey, haters going to hate, and I'm going to hear I all my life. and believe it or not Kristy was one of them people too telling me to LS some foxes. I hate it I absolutely hate it! when someone tells me to LS something. I lose interest in even LSing it. in fact I got this fox personally just to piss people off I had no interest what so ever to even keep it.........than I kind of grew over it. lol

yeah, seriously! i don't know what people expect!! the whole lifesize-elitist bullshit will never not annoy me. u-u
honestly, it seems like a lot of people worship ranch foxes. i think they're cool and all (obviously) but i don't think EVERY SINGLE ONE has to be lifesized to bring out it's true beauty.
good taxidermists will give those foxes justice, or any other animal, and to say "oh shame blah blah blah" is just. ugh

and you're right LOL, lifesizes don't sell, unless they're those shitty 'vintage' ones on ebay that sell for like 200$ tops somehow!
people just really can't seem to put things into perspective :-/ and gosh, i just read the comment ShamanicTaxidermyArt posted and just... wow. WOW. really?

but yeah, i love that with the posables. they can still sit and look nice on the shelf, but when it's time for pictures, they set up real great!
i don't really take my taxidermy stuff anywhere minus a mink tail keychain, so typical soft mounts aren't really my thing , but for someone that does, it's perfect!
the thing about soft mounts, and the attraction of them, is they're interactive and fun, while still looking beautiful if done my a great artist...
and seeing people call it sick and shit is just. really annoying :-// way to shit on someone's business, someone's work, someone's happiness. lol
it made me think of this picture. no fun allowed LOL!

but you're right, haters are always going to be there, whether it's PETA people, anti-fur farming, lifesize elitists.. LOL.
it never ends and it's impossible to get away from them, but at least there's people who have the same stance as you and so you can get a good laugh outta it :XD:

OKAY i have to admit, i LOVE that LOL. pissing people off with harmless shit like this amuses the hell outta me ;-)

starting auction is $1,650.

i am willing for payments if a $1000 is put as a down and what ever amount in the end comes to when the mount is ready to be mounted.

as stated if your interested in the pelt you have to pay for the whole softmount. which is 1,650 is the starting auction. though I'm not expecting it to really sell.

Well, maybe around $1000 are a realistic price for an albino fox, no doubt at all.
I asked because I was interested in getting it for a traditional mount (my US fur trader would be available as a middleman).
It makes me sick to even imagine this animal as a softmount, I'm really sorry but that's the truth.
I personally wouldn't pay more than maybe $1000 for an animal I haven't any personal relation to. So I am no possible buyer any longer, sorry. For this amount I can shoot a black roebuck here in Germany or go to Bulgaria for hunting a wolf. Getting an own trophy.
I am not a real collector. But thanks for telling me, really an interesting pelt!

You seem kind of unaware that Nemi does softmount work themselves, and a pretty damn fine job as well. I don't mind if you have your own opinions about softmounts, but you're disrespecting anyone who's made a business from softmounts; all of them, even the great ones. We don't really want to know what you can do with the amount of money you're spending; it's insulting.

That's like saying to a furry artist who's selling their artwork for $700 a piece, "I could pay my bills three times over for that amount!" "That means I'm entitled to have the price lowered for me!" is basically what it'll look like you're implying. It's rude and unacceptable.

Nemi has set a realistic price for the hide alone, show some respect for fellow taxidermists.

I am sick of the US arrogance too!

After all, I said it before, it IS a question if you destroy a rare animal or if you preserve it correctly.

Besides, you can find enough compliments I made regarding to the well-done work.

I will not continue here so please don't respond!

yeah, 1000 wont even touch the pelt as it is or as it was raw and im not budging on lowering it by all means. i thought about asking more for it but eh, figured i would be nice.

sorry it makes you sick but its my pelt my choice. as i said on the listing i really don't care how people feel about it.

Sorry, but I am quite ideologic. Preserving a rare animal is a question of responsibility too.

I am curious if you will sell it? The problem is not the price but the fact that most people don't have the money.

Don't you love how people bitch about everything you do with YOUR pelt? I mean, I know it might sell, but it's currently your pelt, and you can choose what to do with it. I mean damn you paid 1,000+ for this pelt RAW. I'm pretty sure for that price you will treat the pelt with lots of respect. It's like people think soft mounts are low class, and miss treated by their owners. I would say anatomy is an issue as well, but (Katie)armature deals with that pretty well, so that's not a "problem" really anymore with soft mounts; in my opinion that is.

i love it so much. I knew this one was going to get some fuss over but personally I really don't care. people can bitch all they want it isn't going to change my mind. I love how people say its disrespectful and your going to ruin it. like really whats so respectful about mounting up as a LS for a display? like I'm pretty sure who ever pays more than 1000 dollars for a Softmount isn't going to fling it around by its tail or stick it out the window and let it flap in the breeze.

and that's true, funny part is, the person who bought it is having it made into a Poseable.
