Green Lantern

Despite how much I loathe nearly everything DC puts out these days, Green Lantern is still my favorite concept in superhero comics. And Kyle is still my favorite Green Lantern. So whenever I get these commissions, it's like getting to slip back into my old shoes from a decade ago when I was still enjoying these comics and loving these characters without needing so many asterisks and "but..."s attached. A time before Infinite Crisis, when we could all kind of squint and pretend Identity Crisis never happened and they weren't about to ruin everything we love.

*sigh* It's hard to be a Marvel/DC fan. Always has been. It's part of why and I started making The Uniques - we wanted to create a superhero universe where the characters could grow and change and the things that happened meant something and it wasn't just about maintaining trademarks and getting cheap sales bumps.
