Illustration for Dragon*Con's 30th Anniversary; Manga Studio, PS CC
This was a lot of fun to do. When commissioned to create a piece for Dragon*Con's anniversary,
and I wanted to do something that could summarize all the many things the convention represents. We struck on the idea of a dragon sleeping on a hoard of artifacts from various genre properties from books, TV, and film. It took a lot of research to find everything, and we tried to have something there for every single one of the fan-tracks the con offers.
Have fun trying to see how much stuff you can recognize. Almost every item there is from something, somewhere, but not everything. I mean, the bookshelf is just a shelf of books. But there's at least one book in the image that's a specific tome.
