Description
Finally, after 5 years attempting to get a brilliant shot of lightning, a wonderful storm moved through (on a day off) and I was able to capture a few shots like this. A couple of these beautiful bolts struck within 500 ft. of my vehicle (which I was taking shelter in). Sadly, I had to work during an even bigger and more beautiful storm the next evening.

Been wanting to do a lightening pick for a while but afraid I may get zapped!⚡️ Prairie states are known for their intense lightening and storms though.
