So what's up with Eclipse's memory leaks lately? I wake up my computer, open another couple tabs for eclipse, and suddenly my 3.5GHz CPU goes up to 100% and 10GB of my memory gets sucked up in a heartbeat. I have to kill the chrome instances in TaskManager. Never in my life's history have I ever needed to do this with another website with what seems to be daily regularity. This site is the definition of bad programming. Time for the developers to grow up and write their own code and stop popping frameworks like candy! >:/
Tonight, I opened my browser and noticed my computer seemed to be a bit sluggish. With Task Manager open, I see Chrome is using about a 1/3 of my processor. I figure a page or two froze up, so I kill those instances. Low and behold, after reloading the two tabs that happened to be Eclipse, the same thing.
DeviantArt is officially gone in every aspect, and Eclipse, using about 1/4 of my CPU, with a single tab using more memory than any other tabs I have open, has been officially Wixed. This confirms every problem I've ever had and hated about Wix, a bloat-fest with every bite and loaded with lard.
