A Black Cat con sketch done at the Big Apple show this passed weekend in NYC.

The fellow wanted Felicia with his cat, so I obliged!

It was a very cat-heavy weekend, lots of requests for Catwoman and Black Cat...

Pencil, PITT pen, Copic warm & cool gray markers, Winsor-Newton white calligraphy ink, black & white Berol Prismacolor on 11" X 14" Strathmore Drawing paper

I love images of "Party Hardy", she is a pin-up delight!  I don't know who wins between you and Terry Dodson when it comes to rendering imagery featuring the ever-sultry Black Cat and as a fan I am happy to have the opportunity to enjoy BOTH your spectacular approaches!!!

I think u draw a model who has a wide shoulder.. I prefer it less ;p
or at least when it's as wide as the hip (my opinion)

I'm just wondering what number/code the copics are that you use (especially the warm/brown ones). And I've seen the Windsor and Newton white ink but I've never tried it as I use white gouache instead, but would you recommend it is it worth the purchase?

I use pretty much all the tones in the gray sets (warm & cool). Caucasian flesh tones seem to use the 10%-40% values.

I say use whatever white ink serves your purpose best.
