The Interview....

Q1) When did your passion for art really start?

I've always been interested in art, and always been drawing, but I'd say that I REALLY got into it when I was about 12 or 13.

Q2) Did you have any early influences when you first began?

the pretty fantasy artists, like Linda Bergkvist and Socar Myles

Q3) Who is your favorite artist?

Linda Bergkvist, Audrey Kawasaki, Kim Cogan, Michael Hussar, Gary Tonge, Anthony Van Dyke, Klimt... there's to many to list

Q4) How do you find your inspiration?

I'm not sure really, things I hear, like songs and just certain words and combination of words, photographs and paintings, films.

Q5)Have you ever lost inspiration?
If so what was it that kept you going?

yeah, there's been brief periods of nonproductivity, but normally I just go to conceptart.org or somewhere and be inspired again. I don't think I can physically NOT create art for too long a length of time.

Q7) Does your art portray a particular message?
If so what is it, and what do you want others to realize?

No, not really? I paint what I think is beautiful most of the time.

Q8) Before creating the image, what becomes the main focus?
And why?

I love faces as you may have noticed... I love working out a colourscheme, a mood, and putting details into eyes and skin.

Q9) As an artist have you reached your goals or do you still think there’s more potential?

there's still a very long road ahead

Q10) Through-out your artistic experiences, do you think fame &/ fortune is an important factor for the creation of artworks?

I shouldn't think so, but sometimes it does knock you out of a creative block if people are dangling money in front of your face, haha.

Q11) Are there any other themes that you would like to explore in your art?
If so what are they?

I'd like to move into architectural things actually.

Q12) Are there any other methods or materials that you would like to explore?
If so what are they?

the airbrush, because I have one and I haven't used it yet. Spray paints and more oils. I'd like to build up more traditional work. Also 3D programs would be lovely if I can just get my head around them.

Q13) What are your future aspirations?

Short term, I want to have a gallery showing and maybe something in a well known magazine... hmm, but I'm at uni at the moment studying Natural Science so I don't know how much of an opportunity I'll have to do arty things.

Q14) Apart from art, what other interest’s do you have?

I like music, especially death/black metal, reading, astronomy, biochemistry ;)

Exceptionally done. And clever title; maybe it's just me, but I think she looks a little more like she'd be a ghost of autumn, but I still like it. =]
