Alright, obviously not my usual style, but no worries, it doesn't happen too often.

So this is fan art of Mad Moxxi from the video game, Borderlands. I'm not a shooter fan by any stretch, but I loved this game. I almost got to playing it yesterday... but didn't make it, ah well. I look forward to the sequel; 'em folks at Gearbox have their work cut out for 'em trying build off of the first one.

Anyways, about the picture. This was actually sitting in my unfinished bin for a long time with just a little left to do (I seem to do this a lot with pictures). So thought I'd dust it off and go ahead and upload.

I don't do flats/illustrative styles too often but I do enjoy attempting once in a while. In this image I was attempting a rather obvious Mucha vibe with the layout. A lot of Mucha's most famous works were in fact advertising posters so I thought that theme would work well for Mad Moxxi's bar, the Red Light which ya find in one of the expansions for the game.

So yeah, hope ya like it.
