The Journey

It’s been a loooog journey. So far. Seventy-four years of watching the sky. The clouds. Looking for the gods, the Angels. The Dragons. Life began gloriously for me but, with a twisted and added dose of pain and suffering Peppered into me mix of life. That is for the memoir! Have come and gone. Lost and gained. Here I am again. I’m beginning to feel an awakening of the need to express creatively, yet, my recovery from the stroke has hampered the use of my left hand. My recovery is not complete but I am not complaining. I have learned of many people here who have suffered strokes and are in much worse condition. I am the lucky one, I guess. So, I am here. Just learning about what it means to be married at my age.That is where my heart and feet have taken me to this point It’s currently a struggle to respond to all the watches and faves. Know that you are appreciated and your art fills me with wonder and inspiration daily! Thank you! Achello

Why?

I was born completely conscious. Upon observation, my first thought was ‘WHY?’ Why me? Why here? WTF!! I have always known that I wasn’t from ‘here’. This rock with water. Dense mind enveloped by emotion. A rock with billions of creatures. Human and not so much. Planet Earth is like the mind of the Solar System. Why here?

I’ve had two strokes since early February. The second worse than the first. I’ve been basically paralyzed in my left arm and hand. It’s been a trip! I went back to work on August 18 and I am managing my janitorial position sloppily, but improving every day. The good news is that at the age of 74, I was married for the first time. Married to a guy less than half my age. It’s a trip! So, I’m not very good with the camera or even the IPhone right now. I just need to be apart of this community. So, here I be! Thanks for all your faves and watching my creativity! Achello
