S-E C: "Greetings, fellow sentient life forms! S-E C here, along with AcesRockz, to give a run-down and analysis of AcesRockz's experience regarding his performance over his commissions."
S-E C: "For the data to be analyzed, they are the following:
1. Full Body Pin Up (1 Character) w/ Designed Background
Duration: 7 Days (12 Hours)
2. Full Body Pin Up (3 Characters) w/ Simple Background
Duration: 7 Days (14 Hours)
3. Waist UP Pin Up (2 Characters) w/ Designed Background
Duration: 9 Months ( 72 Hours)
Overall Duration: 9 Months, 14 Days (98 Hours)
Please note that some days included work on multiple orders."
Well, I am very disappointed. I apologize to the last commission for taking that long to finish and not meeting expectations.
The actual analysis: Speed
9 Months and 14 Days, 98 Hours of work. This is unacceptable. While my time to spend on commission work has not changed, work and school have been more taxing as of late. However, I should have been able to still scrape time to work on a consistent basis, but I did not do that. Unacceptable and heavily needs improvement. Quality
Works still visually uphold my standards. Though, with the time spent, I should have been able to go a bit beyond what I had planned. Needs improvement as well. Clarity
Discussions with the commissioners were the same as the previous round; ideas and planning were very clear and I was able to give a very close rendition of what they had in mind. Performed sufficiently on this.
Overall, I am frustrated and disappointed in myself. I should have been able to output all of the commissions earlier even with my current schedule but I became complacent. I really need to take this work more seriously than I have before.
I really want to do commissions again but as I am now I'd have a really hard time focusing; I've been more active on social media outside of here but I've been having fun drawing things by my own pace rather than sticking to a strict schedule and prompts. It sounds irresponsible but it really does make me feel happy and ease the weight off my shoulders after a long day of studying and work.
I will be doing the poll winners before the end of the year but beyond that, art on here may be scarce for a while. I am very sorry and I deeply apologize to those who look forward to more MLP work but as of late I've been dried out on ideas for this series.
Thanks for reading and understanding and I hope you guys enjoy looking through my work.
