WSP-XD Wasp by AceDarkfire WSP-XD Wasp by AceDarkfire
I gotta be honest, there's only bits and pieces of this artwork I like, namely the head.

The Legs could be better.

The 'Mechs torso seems really wide in comparison to the legs from outside-thigh to outside-thigh.

I may redraw this later, probably from a different perspective, as I think drawing it from this perspective screwed around with my sense of proportion or something.

The design as a whole is great,.

I think its "waist" and shoulders are together contributing to the wideness of the torso. The waist is so skinny, and the shoulders are large and boxy, so it looks sort of exaggerated. I can see why you're pleased with the head, though. The V-shaped cockpit glass and the antenna are really what makes it recognizeable as a Wasp.

So, don't be too hard on yourself. You've got a pretty solid design; now it just needs a bit of streamlining.

Hmm.. I'll still re-draw it though, probably after I get done with the Crusader. (Well, whenever I can come up with some design elements that don't look too Macross-ish)
