Be nice to everyone! Any meanies will be given the boot (to the head)
And it Came to Life"I think that does it," Metis said, closing the hatch on the front of the blue robot. She sighed, rubbing her forehead. They'd been up for hours working on this newest robot, eager to give Ponco someone to play with.
"What will we name it?" Ponco asked with more excitement than most would expect a robot to be able to express. She was practically giddy, bouncing around the room. Metis chuckled.
Aura coughed. "Ponco, we can't give him a name until we're sure he works." That had always been the policy with any of their creations, in order to prevent them from getting too attached to something that may not work. Ponco, or Psychological Observation and Navigation Companion, had been their biggest and best creation yet, and had given Metis's daughter, Athena, several hours of enjoyment. In fact, she enjoyed it so much that Aura had taken it upon herself to make her a necklace with Ponco's face. Athena named it Widget.
A Flighty Affair (Chapter 7)Simon searched through the aisles, trying to remember where the applesauce was at this grocery store. This was not his regular store. In fact, he'd only been here once or twice, with Athena leading the way each time, but this happened to be along the way to his house from the prison, so he figured he'd pick up a few things. It's not with the fruit, he thought to himself. Perhaps among the canned goods...
He jolted to a halt as he rounded the corner. Shit. Athena stood several feet in front of him, lazily searching through the sushi. She looks upset, he thought, but no matter how he urged himself to move toward her, he couldn't. Instead, he stood there, mouth slightly open. A woman pushing a child in a shopping cart gave him an odd look as she passed, reaching around him for a bag of sour cream and onion chips.
Athena picked up a box of Tako and a box of Kani and put them into the basket she was carrying. She glanced to her right and did a double tak
A Flighty Affair (Chapter 6)"We're back!" Phoenix called as he opened the door, hanging his jacket on the coat rack. Trucy and Pearl sped into the room, giggling, and jumped onto the couch. The two groaned in unison as their full stomachs reacted to the quick movements, and they laughed some more.
"Those burgers were so good!" Trucy exclaimed, presumably to Athena and Apollo, who were leaning against opposite ends of the counter, awkwardly. Clay had gone to the restroom. "You wouldn't belie--Miles!" Just as quickly as she had jumped onto the couch, she leapt off and rushed toward the prosecutor, throwing her arms desperately around him.
"Ack! Trucy, hello," Miles responded, trying to ensure his tea didn't spill on him or the folders. He set the cup down and returned the hug. "Are you prepared for your show this weekend?"
Trucy let go of the prosecutor and nodded, placing her hands proudly on her hips. "I've been practicing that trick that the bird guy taught me! Uhhh, what was his name again?"
"Simon," Miles resp
A (possibly) helpful guide for Ace Attorney OCsWhile I'm not a member of The Court Records.net, I usually like looking at OCs and their bios. Sometimes I find really good ones and sometimes... Not.
And because The Ace Attorney OC contest has begun I wanted to share some tips, suggestions and a few peeves that will be helpful. This can be helpful even If you're not going to join the contest and might help you with OCs in general.
In addition, I won't mention any good or bad examples unless they are mine, and if the negatives sound like any of your OCs then please don't take this personally, I'm here for build up not dissing.
I'm no expert but I hope this is helpful.
Okay let's begin with the appearance of your ocs.
make your OCs look unique. It's okay if they remind of a canon character but don't outright steal their appearance, make small changes and claim their yours.
However when designing a character make them look appropriate to the game. don't make them look TOO gaudy or Edgy. You can give them a bizzare

Wouldn't it be amazing if Capcom did what Level5 did with Layton and made an anime? That would be so beautiful :')
And with the anime cutscenes in Ace Attorney VS Professor Layton and Dual Destinies, this dream could easily become a reality!
And if so, I hope it involves Maya.
Although she wasn't my favorite character, Ace Attorney seems strange without her. I wonder if she'll appear in future games. Her redesign will be something tricky to get right.
But hey, at least Edgeworth is here.
If you close your eyes
be very quiet
and listen really, really hard
you can hear the fangirls screaming
Thank you very much for stopping by!
