Guess I should update this since I still have an entry up about the 'con that shouldn't be named'.
This year hasn't been a great one for art. I've been too busy for the last twelve months to even get a chance to pickup my stylus. Once 2014 rolls around things should hopefully calm down. Maybe then I'll have more time to draw art. Anyway my other resolution for 2013 was to lose 15 lbs which somehow I was able to surpass (45 lbs) with hard work and determination. This year I am aiming for 25lbs and yeah, one large art project a month. :)
Anyway hope everyone had a great holiday and a happy new year.
Well, Las Pegasus Unicon is over. I enjoyed it due to being a quiet event, but with reservations.
The good part: Unlike Everfree in Seattle last year which kept selling out over and, over and, over again causing most people to miss panels due to poor venue choice. Unicon had so few people that I was able to go to every panel, and I had no reason to worry about artists running out of prints that I was interested in purchasing. In the end it felt like some of the industry trade shows I've gone to for my work and the my personal growth in knowledge.
Now for the bad part: I spent most of Sunday at home waiting to take a couple people to the air
I thought I would do one of these, and I asked ManateeMcKenzie to feature a bit of my art on his journal. I guess I'll continue it too and I'll update it the evening hours (pacific time).
1. For each of the 20 first people answering this journal, I will put their avatar and the three deviations I like most from their gallery on the list
2. If you answer, you have to do the same in your journal, putting the original poster (in this case, me) on the first place. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.
