Looks like acrylic paint, but your skills are SCARY GOOD! This deserves to be on the side of a building, and not even as graffiti either!

I love how you captured the expression of the animal using a limited colour palette, but with great contrasts between colours and dynamic brush strokes to illustrate its wild nature! Lovely!

It saddens me that every single species of rhino is endangered. Maybe someday the Southern White Rhino will boost up its numbers.

I agree. There's plenty we can do to help (for instance, refrain from buying anything made from endangered species, and give people books about endangered species as gifts, thus teaching them about it as well).

Must be a white rhino. Great work.

lapwing30kph's avatar

It is. You can tell from the shape of its upper lip (a black rhino's lip is narrow, pointed, and prehensile). A more fitting name for the white rhino is the "square-lipped" rhino, and the black rhino is more appropriately called the "hook-lipped" rhino.

I always wondered what the differences were. Very good info, thanks.
