There are, like, NO real voodoo shops in the French Quarter in New Orleans. It's not fair! I was promised magic when I moved here! DX

Yeah we *do* have polar bears in Canada.. UP NORTH. I don't know who thinks it but they are probably limited to the Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut.. regular brown, black and grizzly bears here in BC anyway.

There are indeed no polar bears here!
Elks, yes, regular bears, yes, lynx, yes, some wolves, yes, but no polar bears!
(The-Vol: a guide at an info-shop told me she's had that question a couple of times, so apparently some people still believe that..)

I know this is old and I honestly don't know anyone who actually thinks it's true but since even the National Geographic website had it wrong once, here goes: There are NO polar bears in Finland. :D

Because I think I've watchers/watch people from all over the area..
Answer for your country if you don't want to be specific. (In case of, you know, stalkers. x3)

People seem to commonly think it is cold ALL THE TIME here in Canada. Which it is not. Unless you come from like... the tropics or something, then yes in some areas it might be cool in comparison.. >___>

Oh. And this could be different in the east, but here in the west and in Victoria where I reside - which is largely a tourist town- we don't have accents. o_O Not terrible ones. And if I say 'eh' it's not terribly frequently.
