Digital strip looks like a nice one to find and have for later, but I've got this weird aversion to anime ace personally (though I have it anyway since I go on font-downloading sprees).. not sure where it came from.
Thanks for the feedback. I *think* after I finish my match with Kira I'll go back to colour comics and use CBC and the speech bubble style I did in No More Accidents.. maybe. o.o It was a very easy style for me and I liked it.
I wish I could write my text by hand, but my writing's so messy.. ('life in 4 months' is the neatest I've ever written text by hand so far) ;-; I envy those pros.
NOT talking about the bubble style, which is different through these pages; ONLY the font! Speech bubbles depend on the style I'm illustrating in, and I'm not so indecisive about them.
Honestly, for comics and illustrations I'm a bit more inclined to use upper-case fonts for the main dialogue, like Comic Book Commando and Damn Noisy Kids.. however, I decided to give a different font a go (Dirty Finger) for the sake of experimentation. I don't entirely like anime ace, despite its popularity, so I will probably never settle for it. And in case it wasn't clear, I always use different fonts for dialogue and thoughts (the latter I like using a font called "Dan's Hand" for ).. this is for any main, spoken dialogue.
I might still experiment, but I suppose I'm curious as to what everyone else likes when they read a comic.
