Groaning, Jenny slid into a chair at the edge of the Heroes’ Hideout tavern. The table was located away from the general throng of people who filled the pub around this time of evening but she’d chosen not to look for a more-private booth. Mika had semi-obediently slipped into a seat across from her, his arrogant smirk only hinting rather than plastering over his lips.
